Her giggle echoed in the dark room, she was in his arms, naked while sheet covering their naked bodies, his back rested against her bedpost and arms wrapped around her protectively.
"Reyaansh-" She called out for him softly.
"Yes, taani?"
"Can i ask you something?" Taani voiced out while playing with his fingers.
"Offcourse." Rey answered, he nuzzle his face in crook of her neck, inhaling in her enchanting feminine fragrance.
"Why your brother hate you so much?" Taani asked him, she could understand why her mother-sister hate her because she was an unwanted child, her mother never wanted her but because of her father she couldn't abort taani when she was breathing inside her womb, but why he is so distant from his family.
Taani turned her head and look at him, he was staring into space.
"He is my parent's favorite child, for them, he is their lucky charm, and I, their useless son. I wasn't topper in school like him, I wasn't excellent in sports like him, all in all, I wasn't perfect son they wanted but he was. Since start I had mind of my own, I never do things to please someone, not even my parents so when they start giving more importance to aryan and ignore me, I too accept it. My father gave his everything to aryan, not that i mind but it hurt me when my parents treated me like a burden on them, so when i turned 17, i left the house and started to live on my own, and distance between my family & me grown more. I struggled, fought, succeed and today, Here I'm today, as reyaansh singhania. I have earned everything on my own where as Aryan got everything from dad but still, I'm more rich, successful, and powerful than him and that infuriate him. My parents used to chose him over me, they still do and it had stopped affecting me long ago but he hates it when everyone chose me over him. My brother is jealous my success, he hates seeing me happy and thats why he wants to take you away from me, because you are the only person i have by my side."
Rey told her about his life, a lone tear escaped her eyes while he was emotionless, his past neither brings pleasant memories nor pain, it had stopped affecting him or he had made himself stone hearted toward it.
"I'm sorry!" She burst into tears, feeling his pain. She couldn't believe he had gone through so much in his life, he was alone where as she had him when her family turn their faces away from her. Her childhood was beautiful because she had atelast her father with him but he, he didn't had anyone. Her heart clenched painfully imagining the amount of he had gone through in his life.
"Hey! Why are you crying?" Rey asked her, he rubbed her back gently, hushing her.
"It makes me feel sad, you had went through so much." She cried, buried her face in his chest. Now she knew why he doesn't believe in love & relationships, he never experience these in his life, he never got love from his parent's, he was pushed away by the most important people of one's life, parents.
"Don't cry, kitty, you know, whatever had happened with me, it had made me a strong person. It made me a better person." Rey said to her, he held her chin and made her look into his eyes, with his thumb, he wiped her tears away. Taani blinked her tears away and look at him, she admire him for being so strong.
"Now stop crying, I'm feeling bad for making you cry on the first day of our marriage." Rey teased her, taani smiled through her tears. And hugged him tightly.
"I'm hungry, lets go and eat something." Rey suggested, taani nodded, she got up and wore his shirt while he wore his pants and they went downstairs, he had given day off to all the servants.
"What do you want to eat?" Rey asked her, going into his chef Reyaansh mode. Taani giggled, she sat on kitchen counter and watched him as he took needed things required.
"Maggieee." Taani told him happily. Rey frowned at her, he had noticed that from past few days, she eats little and it's not good for her since she is already weak.
"You need to eat properly, young lady. I'm making you proper meal and you will eat it without any argument." Rey told her causing her to frown.
"but-"
"No but, taani, look at you, you have lose so much weight. Few more days and your bone will start showing-" Rey spoke in firm tone. Taani pouted cutely, knowing she wont be able to win against him. But she loves it when he shows his care toward her.
While Rey cooked food for them, taani helped him in chopping veggies. They cooked their food together and ate it together, enjoying each other's company.

"Reyaanshhh!" She shouted at top of her voice, from inside the washroom, Soon the washroom door opened and a concerned, panicked Rey entered inside and rushed to her.
"What? What happened, taani? Are you okay?" He asked her in panicked, concern filled tone.
"I don't have anything to wear." Taani huffed cutely, when she left her house, she left her suitcase there but brought her hand bag with her.
Rey closed his eyes and took a sigh of relief, he opened his eyes and glance at her, his eyes darkened seeing her standing in front of him, just in her towel while water was dripping from her hair.
"Can you take me there to bring my stuff from my old house?" Taani asked him, while anger rushed through him at the mention of her old house.
"You are not going there, We will go for shopping, and buy everything for you today. I don't want you to step in that house ever again." Rey told her in stern tone, letting her know that he doesn't want any argument over this.
"Oh-okay, Reyaansh, but what will i wear now?"
"I have some pair of your clothes in my closet, I'll bring it for you." Rey said to her, he placed a peck on her lips and walked out of the washroom. Taani waited for him patiently and after some time, he come back with a dress in his hands and matching inner wears.
"Get ready, then we will go out for shopping-" Rey told her, he turned to leave so that she can change but she held his hand and pulled him toward herself.
"Help me, pleasshh!" Taani made a cute face earning a throaty chuckle from him. He took another dry towel and dried her hair then he made her wear her clothes.
After she was ready, they went downstairs but stopped when their eyes fell over some people. Anger bubble up inside him while she shifted close to him while staring at the new visitor. Rey held her hand in his walked toward them, where his parent's were standing along with his brother and glaring at his wife who cling onto him.
"Krishnaji! Why can't we live in peace, everyday a new drama-" Taani cursed her fate, she knew his family will create some drama here and it will hurt him which she doesn't want.
