Hey guys! I'm really sorry for not updating. I was really busy with school stuff and I still am but finally found some time to pen this down. Again I'm sorry for such a small chapter but I'll try to make the next one longer. :)
Chapter 1
I saw Amma hesitantly take the aarti from Koyal. It was evident that she had not been very pleased at the unexpected marriage. Well, whose parents would be? Amma wanted me and Koyal to get married but not in this way. But it was a different situation at Koyal's place. Paro aunty and Gosh uncle were quite happy. The reason was obvious. They didn't want Koyal with Raj. Taani and Shubho were shocked but didn't say anything.
Amma left from there after taking the aarti, without saying a word, followed by Surya and Appa. I could see Koyal lose hope, and she wiping a tear silently didn't go unnoticed by me.
I slowly stepped towards her and kept my hand on her shoulder. She turned to me and then offered me the aarti. "Don't lose hope. I'll talk to Amma and Appa. Everything will be fine." I consoled her. "I promise." I added. "Yeah. I shouldn't lose hope now. I'll try to win their hearts." She replied with a watery smile.

"Venkat, that file which I ga--" Koyal knocked on the door and entered.
"Aunty. Uncle. I--"
"You want something Koyal?"
"Aunty, I'm sorry. I know all this happened really fast but I am the daughter-in-law of this house and I'll fulfill all my duties. I will fulfill all the 7 vows which I took when I married Maddy. I--"
"Koyal, we don't want to talk about this now. Maybe later. You wanted something?" she asked pointing towards the basket I was holding. I was here to take the clothes to clean. Aunty pointed towards a bucket and I went to collect the clothes.

As Uncle and Aunty returned from office, I prepared Masala Tea for Uncle and normal tea with only 1 teaspoon of sugar for Aunty. Also I had made some samosas for them as I remember Maddy had mentioned about it once.
They sat down on the couch and took the cup of tea. I couldn't make it if they were pleased or upset with this. But I was sure I wouldn't lose hope. I would keep on trying till I impress them. I knew I had hurt them but I had to make up for my mistake.
