On the flip side, the surnames are an issue. Manik is a Malhotra while Maddy is a Singhania. Unless Madhyam lied about his surname, it will be difficult to accept the brother' angle. Or, Maddy could be Nyonika's son from another marriage, which means that the mystery man in Episode 12 is not Manik's dad. I read like this in another website.

Coming to How Nyonika wouldn't recognize GD may be Nyonika and GD has some secret agreement that they would not reveal abt this to anyone.

If they explore this angle I see some interesting turns to happen in the story. Only Manan can't help season 2. In season 1 the FAB5 story was strong coupled with Manan. Now because Cabir is not there and Dhruv also planning to exit some new angle is needed and for that the strong character is needed. I see that in Maddy. Love triangle nor Manan romance cannot help for the success of season 2.

I want a strong brotherly bond to develop between Maddy and Manik in some unusual circumstance. But I am fine with the current tiffs between them. Need really some fresh story.

Either Yuvraj play the role of Maddy or some other but Maddy needs to stay.

GD did not still show the photo of Maddy's mom and Dad to him. So he is that secretive and he is in full control of Maddy and did not allow him to question about his parents. CVs can make use of this behavior of GD to their favour and when it comes to Nyonika not recognizing Maddy even with Manik she is not that warm. She has always been very cold towards him. So she might not be interested in recognizing Maddy.

Having said that Whether CVs really care for giving us something entertaining. I highly doubt. Now with the news Parth signing in for a film I do not think we would be getting any logical things going forward.
