@simran the problem is in creating shows that needs to reel out end less episodes. See you can go on creating new episodes for a show like Savdhaan India, but how do you make normal shows run for years.

Every show has a saturation point, every story has a timeline. But Indian channels don't recognize that. If TRP is bad, show is rushed. if TRP is good then stretch.

So to get TRP and to stretch there seems to be some standard tracks. Souten, amnesia, plastic surgery, illegimate child , extra marital affair, premarital affair, black magic and love triangles, then if nothing works leap.

Half the problem will go, if stories come for a finite period with pre-fixed script. But then Indian TV has years to go before it reaches anywhere near there.

Because if you see once Badthameez Dil moved out of TV and went to hotstar, quality of the show improved drastically. As it started concentrating on the main characters and main story without stretching much.

Shruthi, i know the constrains the makers face when they want to show something for eternity.
All the channels face the problem. But the polygamy tracks are Zee's specialties. It's a standard feature in all it's shows, in other channels it's not so.
It's as if Zee's shows have to insert this track whether the story & TRP demand it or not.

I don't know about other shows Simran. This is the only show I watch in Zee. But SP also has souten tracks.

Story is complete bakwass, do these things can really happy in real life, wake up guys, no one can take this crap of villians going unnoticed in the house, their talks or their plans.

The same is being portrayed in three of Zee shows, according to my knowledge. It seems that they're insidiously promoting polygamy and getting away with it.
