Diwali is a Festival of Lights
light shows you the way Right
out of darkness it does us steer
And things around become clear
Without light we would be unable
To know which path is sure stable
In which direction is the progress
And in which direction is it regress
Often in the dark we stumble upon
The past ,lose our way to move on
Light shows us the future and hope
The confidence to cope and scope
To reach greater and nobler heights
And the atmosphere becomes bright
Many a things we do not have and get
Though we so much want and covet
But friends this is just for one life span
There is till end of eternity for our plan
To wish,achieve and get what we want
So let not negative thoughts mind haunt
Diwali has come, the lights are ablaze
With every promise to fulfil our ken and craze
