OK so Rimi gets saved again against her wishes and she has to stay for another week and maybe a lot more weeks. But I fail to understand why that makes people rant on and on about it.
Here are some of reasons people give.
1. Rimi constantly cribs and cries about going home: Really? Other than the first couple of weeks where she said she wanted to go home I haven't seen her cribbing about it or at least BB does not air it, if she does. Also she had the breakdown that one time when Salman told her she has got the 'ticket to the finale' and she panicked. But I have not seen her crying at all. She takes everything in her stride and presents a brave front by simply smiling or laughing off and remaining calm and silent. Mandana has cried and said about wanting to go home much more times than Rimi.š
2. People accuse her of being arrogant and not respecting the show: I have never heard her talking about her career or the stars she has worked with or bringing down any other housemates. In fact even when she said about leaving, she said that she does not deserve to remain in the house. How doesn that make her arrogant? Also she has been vocal about her thoughts about the show. As I had said before BB is all about entertainment and not respect and if BB was so concerned about it's respect it wouldn't have aired that clipping.
3. About todoing muft ke roti: This is the biggest joke. BB is no charitable institute that will keep a housemate in the show if they think that they r not contributing to the show. Aisa hi hota toh they would have waited for housemates to nominate Arvind naturally and get evicted due to getting least number of votes, instead of making the housemates deliberately nominate him and getting him out of the BB house. Rimi in spite of being so passive have managed to elicit interest and has turned out to be one of the most talked abt housemate. So obviously BB needs her, but they what her at their terms, which till now Rimi has shown no sign of.
4. Footage: Also I don't understand what's people problem as Rimi hardly gets any screen time. If a housemate is loud and aggressive and gets ample of screen time and people are irritated, it's understandable. But with Rimi, when she isn't even shown in the epi ( as it happened a couple of times this week), yet ppl get upset by her absence. Then people really need to look within themselves and find out why dat is so.
5. Not doing tasks: Again this is a misconception. She does tasks that she is comfortable with and everybody has that option. They don't use it, she does. But I can understand how that becomes a disadvantage for her team and people resenting it.But again as she has been vocal the focus is only on her, though if closely scrutinized I wont be surprised if it's actually a few other housemates who come out as having done lesser tasks than Rimi.
6. More deserving housemates being out: Again this is hilarious. It's not a premier educational institute where a deserving candidate lost out coz some other candidate got into it by giving donations. BB can have as many housemates as it wants and BB only keepS the so-called deserving housemates in the house irrespective of whether they want to stay or not as long as they generate interests among the viewers.
6. Hurting sentiments of her and BB fans: Again it's up to her fans whether they want to vote for her or not and if they do so its their wish. As for BB fans who feel she's disrespecting the show, just don't let one Rimi Sen who hardly gets screen time spoil the show for u. Concentrate in stead on ur favs and the fighting, bitching, romances and going to extremes in tasks as there is plenty of that too.
