ABHISHEK BACHCHAN To play the lead in SANJAY GUPTA'S Next

It looks like Sanjay Gupta has added another Bachchan to his honour roll by casting Abhishek Bachchan as the lead in his next. With a little under a month since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Jazbaa released, Sanjay Gupta is reportedly working on a gangster film, based on S Hussain Zaidi's book, Byculla to Bangkok. But a source informs that the film will trace the journeys of the four young boys who went on to become feared members of the mafia, but also look at the lives of the policemen and politicians, with characters inspired by real-life policemen Vijay Salaskar and Pradeep Sharma. The source also claims that this high-octane film will be an all-out massy film with an A-list cast, mass-impact dialogue, along with plenty of song and dance. The film was supposedly titled Mumbai Saga earlier but has now been renamed to Ek Tha Gangster and will go on floors this December.
