I come back to review writing after a three-week hiatus (trust me, it feels AGES!!😕) and I feel nice...feel like I've come home.
I have been regularly watching the crap fest at 7.30 like a loyal YHM watcher, more out of curiosity as to what crap would be dished out per episode (as the track progresses) and a chance to amuse myself, than actually being in 'awe' of the track... My reaction is more like, 'HAWWW! Yeh kya dikhaya' types😆
SO MANY THINGS ARE NOT RIGHT ABOUT THE SHOW RIGHT NOW.
I dont know WHO started this bhoot angle...I guess it is YHM...and then ALL the other shows on SP started the bhoot and tantrik angle😆 its like SP thought of paying a month-long homage to Halloween and celebrate it in Indian telly-soap style😆YHM CVs are a desperate clan indeed - picking up tidbits and blatantly trying to force the Bhoot track down our throats, thinking we are struck by their genius. Yeah right, struck with grief, striking ourselves Facepalm 10 times per episode
As long as all the other characters were brought into this mess and giving us stupendous reaction after another, I was cool. But now that even the kids are getting dragged into this mess (what with Ruhi being questioned over a gun found in her bag) and her trysts with IshGun...I dont understand why kids have to be dragged into this mess. Poor RD...I hope she is not scared out of her wits or feeling anxiety bouts playing the role of the frightened daughter trying to deal with her possessed stepmom..😕
The episodes aren't worth a mention to be honest...
Some things here and there struck a chord with me..none of them story-wise
Liked how Ruhi is back to being a kid, much to my relief...her daadi Amma talk has vanished...but I dont appreciate the fact that she's having to play the timid, scared little girl in this Bhoot track. I sincerely feel kids should be kept out of such tracks.
All along I had a feeling that maybe, just maybe ACP and Sarika could be in on this thing together - harrassing the Bhalla family by whatever outrageous means possible for the 'wrongs done to Sarika'. But looking at his sincerity in cracking down on the owner of the gun, doesn't seem like he COULD be the one. Sometimes I feel Manoj and Shaggy's ghost are a team in this Bhoot track😆 It is outrageous yes...but what to do? CVs ne koi aur option chhoda hi nahin hai...ab dimag mein permutation combination karke hi sochna padta hai..But one thing is for sure - whoever is the owner of the gun has something to do with this Bhoot track, Ishu's posession and Rinky's murder. This has all got to tie up. Heck, if it does NOT tie up somehow to Rinky's murder, then damn the Bhallas for forgetting their dead daughter, hovering in the skies unavenged😆
Try as I might, I just DONT understand from where Prateek materialized. I mean, he just as well Disapparated from wherever he was and Apparated at Bhalla House...and all of a sudden he is their neighbour too! Living a floor above them..Facepalm facepalm facepalm...darn my intelligence😕 First I thought, he is a milky-white, suited-booted modern tantrik speaking good Hindi and impeccable English who would pose as Ishu's exorcist😆
But then he clarified later...he is not what the Bhallas naturally thought him to be...he is an exceptionally intuitive psychic person who can calm down nasty and fidgety prets residing inside bodies of innocent women (read: Ishita)...heck! IshGun looked like she KNEW who this new guy was...and she didn't look calmed down... she ran like a banshee, freeing herself from the grip of those nurses and ran inside and the first thing she does is pick up a gun from nowhere...so much for curbing revengeful prets😆
And just as Manoj had Raman in the majboor loop - ALL for Ishita ke liye...now this stupid Prateek is also leading Raman in on a majboor trip - phirse Ishita ke liye. So much so, that Raman is willing to go walk up to Ashok and ask him for a favour...to save ISHITA...Waah! Its like - kulhaadi leke apne pair pe zor zor se maarna...😕
On a sidenote, DT looked GORGEOUS! In that red saree and that boat-shaped lacey black blouse..sleek hair and that arrogant pout done up like Shaggy...she looked so sexy👏 DT's acting is par excellence in this track. But sadly, it has become a yawnfest now, as we keep witnessing one tardy IshGun drama after another...hearing the shrieks of varying decibels and and looking at Shaggy's expressions and examining her taunts through Ishita. I suggest they stop it now. Its boring me to death now coz there seems to be NO CONCLUSION.
Loved how IshGun looked at Ruhi...her head turned ominously at Ruhi...that did creep me out...and that was sooo Shagun...
Ruhi dear, nice attempt on your part to get Shagun Mamma to leave Ishima's body, but she ain't leaving anytime soon till she gets back your Raman Papa and the house and the property😆 You want to understand the logic behind understanding WHAT fun and satisfaction a ghost would derive out of sleeping with her ex-husband (who;s very much alive) and eat Tangdi Chicken and spending money on shopping for designer sarees and high heels and go on vacations abroad...ALL while speaking and sensing things through your Ishima, then dont bother. There's absolutely NO LOGIC. Just laugh when Shagun Mamma peeps through your Ishima and say - Meri Bhootiya Mamma😆
When Toshi commented on how she didnt understand what was going on in her home, I felt slightly pissed towards Raman...coz directly, or indirectly, it all boils down to HIS stupidity as to WHY Shagun is back in their lives.😡
But then when he was requesting Ashok to come to Bhalla House and talk to Ishita...literally begging with the swine..pleading with him...and doing whatever it took to make his arch enemy agree to his request...it literally broke my heart😭 Yes, I was pissed with him and absolutely hated him when he was going around the town child-crazy, but that's KP's charm...that I've begun to feel soft towards Raman again! And it follows since its so APPARENT he LOVES his wife to death...and will do anything possible to make her alright. And in that process he committed a blunder and went to ask help from the one man who would love to see him destroyed.
Majboori or no majboori, Raman going to Ashok has just opened a new window in his life...that will usher in more ghastly troubles...Ashok, who has a shining track record of being a repeat molester plans to 'finish unfinished business' with Shagun THROUGH Ishita. I can only imagine what that can be. And have abso NO interest in seeing his fantasies being played out...and so I HOPE for the sake of this show and our collective sanity, the CVs WONT drag it further...by a twist of fate, Shaggy will be curbed, expelled, destroyed I dunno what...but before more damage is done 😲
On a lighter note, what is Shagun pounces at Ashok (as soon as he starts getting to comfy around IshGun) and stabs him or something😆 or breaks his limbs and makes him land up at the asylum...how much FUN that would be!!😆
P.S. KP acted top-notch today. His desperation, anguish, fear for his wife's life, and the willingness to do anything possible to get her back...SHOWED in his act today. He let his ego aside for those few moments and was literally a slave to Ashok. Powerful, powerful acting👏
Also, all these days and weeks, he has been a loyal supporter and protector of his wife, despite her condition and despite the danger he exposes himself to, when he is in her presence. But his unconditional love and concern for her is VISIBLE.
P.S. I was thinking it would be Sarika...but the champu (who ACP caught for selling guns illegally) showed the picture of a man?? Ab yeh kya hai???
