Chapter- 24
Arnav ate silently as Anjali served him food like always when he returned late from office.
Arnav: I am leaving for Mumbai tomorrow, Anjali nodded.
Arnav: I wouldn't come back home, I'll leave straightaway from office, Anjali nodded again without speaking a word.
Anjali: Don't forget to take your medicines and Take care, Arnav heard Anjali speaking when he was moving to his room but when he turned back she was already walking away.
Arnav sighed, after that day Anjali and his relation has been strained, it doesn't mean she doesn't love him or doesn't takes care of him. She does! But she is hurt angry, more angry with herself that she wasn't able to help Khushi.

Next Day
Arnav looked at the picture of Khushi as tears rolled down his cheeks, he missed her! He was nothing but a fool, a fool who thought that his decision will bring happiness in their life, especially hers. But now he knew how wrong he was and how so effortlessly he have destroyed everything.
Arnav: I wish I could undo whatever happened in past Khushi but unfortunately I can't but I need a chance to rectify my mistakes and give you everything you deserve.
Arnav felt hand on his shoulder and turned back to see Anjali there with tears in her eyes.
Arnav: Di... He cried before hugging her.
Arnav: Di! Would I ever meet her again and ask for forgiveness?
Anjali: I don't know but I really wish that to happen.

Mumbai
Lavanya and Khushi walked into the office and was greeted warmly by their staff.
Lavanya: Khushi this deal will be proved very good for our company's goodwill.
Khushi: I hope for same.
" I need a coffee"
Both looked at the men who have just entered in cabin and Khushi shakes her head.
Khushi: Abhay! Grow up, you're late again.
Abhay: You can give me those lectures later! I need a coffee first.
Lavanya: You didn't had your breakfast, did you?
Abhay: No! When I woke up I realized I am late again, so I rushed here in hurry.
Khushi: Ask someone to send breakfast for him, I am going to check if everything is set for today's meet.
Lavanya: Sure Sweetheart!

Lavanya: Meeting was successful and the deal has been signed, it calls for a party. What say guys?
Khushi: Whatever you say!
Abhay: We'll go for dinner tonight after picking Aashi.
Khushi: Sounds good!
Lavanya: Done.
Abhay: Khushi we have another meeting in next two days. The deal is very important , actually the meeting was after fifteen days and I was working personally on this project but the client has to leave for Australia for his work therefore we meeting has to be happened soon otherwise after next two months.
Khushi: Then what's the problem, go with it!
Abhay: Though I have everything ready but still I want you to check everything personally and I want you to keep your schedule free for the day because your presence is necessary.
Khushi: No problem! You can explain me about the deal when we go for dinner tonight and I'll look into it.

Arnav takes deep breath after coming out of airport, he don't know why but there is something so serene in the air here. His heart suddenly felt at peace after long time, like it's going to meet his other half soon and this emptiness will be filled soon.

Khushi keeps her hand on her heart as she felt it again "Dhak Dhak-Dhak" after so long, she looked around restless and then closed her eyes to control her heartbeats.
Arnav(with closed eyes): Khushi
Khushi: Arnav ji
Aashi smiled looking at her mumma who have her eyes closed and she repeated.
Aashi: Annav jeee... She said laughing , stretching on the word jeee.
Khushi opened her eyes shocked and realized that Aashi was thinking it as some game looking at her closed eyes.
On the other side Arnav felt his heart beating with more intensity which left him confused.
Khushi: Aashu! Baby it's time to sleep. Aashu crawled to Khushi with ball for playing.
Aashu: Aashu wans play (Aashu wants to play).
Khushi: So my baby wants to play? Aashu giggled and Khushi picked her in her arms smiling.
Khushi: Aashu never get tired of playing, is she?
Aashu: Neval (Never)
Khushi laughed as Aashu continued with her antics and she herself got engrossed in her innocent blabber and childish antics. This is the only time she laugh genuinely, not just to show others.

Next Day
Khushi and Aashi was still cuddling to each other, and on the other side Arnav woke up with his now common disturbed sleep before and left for jogging.
Three of them completely unaware that their life is going to take a huge turn, once parted soulmates will meet and one innocent life will soon get what she deserves.

Lavanya: Look they both are still sleeping, Lavanya complained.
Mr. Khanna: Let them sleep dear! It's very rare to find Khushi sleeping so carefree, Lavanya smiled and they both left from there.

Khushi glared at Lavanya as she continued to set everything right in her cabin.
Lavanya: Khushi I came to wake you up but looking at you and Aashu sleeping, cuddling to each other we didn't. You were looking so adorable.
Khushi(sighed): Lavanya!

Abhay entered inside the cabin.
Khushi and Lavanya looked at each other before laughing out aloud making Abhay to look at them confused.
Khushi: It's Not only me who is late.

Abhay: You checked everything?
Khushi: Yea. It's perfect!
Abhay: Great! Let's move to conference room.
Khushi: You guys move, I'll join you after talking with Aashu.
Both nodded and left whereas Khushi dialled at home to talk with Aashu.

Arnav walked inside the office impressed with it's interiors with Aman following him as they continued to discuss something. Suddenly Arnav felt change in air and the peaceful feeling increased , his hand went above his heart.
"Khushi"
Khushi looked around startled, this feeling us known to her, but why is she feeling this from few days more after these years!
Her hand also moved above her heart as she closed her eyes remembering the only person who can make her heart to beat like this.
"Arnav ji"
Khushi came out of her daze by Aashi's voice where Arnav was called by Aman. Khushi continued to walk towards conference room still talking with Aashi when she was collided with someone.
Arnav was going to shout at the lady who have just collided with him, but something stopped him and he stood still , too shocked to believe what his heart is telling him. For Khushi it was no different, she knew the feeling , she can never mistake in recognising his manly fragrance, the feeling she got to feel in his arms.
Arnav looked down slowly and at the same time Khushi looked at him, their eyes met and everything around faded for the two.
