Mumbai: It seems Salman Khan will never get over Katrina Kaif almost-Kapoor. Whenever her name pops up, Salman tends to lose his habitual cool and makes catty comments. It has happened so many times in the past. It happened yet again on the set of Kapil Sharma's 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' where Salman turned up to promote his new film with Sonam Kapoor.

According to an actor from 'Comedy Nights', "Salman bhai was in a mischievous mood. He gave wise-cracking answers throughout. But the high point was in a skit we did on Diwali. Salman bhai noticed that a packet of crackers had Katrina's picture on it. We didn't know when his eyes spotted it. Salman stared at it and then guffawed to Kapil, "What purpose does it serve you to have her picture around? She is of no use to you.' And then without a thought he added, She was of no use to me also.' Soon, both Kapil and Salman burst into laughter."

According to the source, the channel is in two minds whether to edit out the catty Katrina comment from Salman's dialogues. "He was there to promote a wholesome sweet family film. The catty comment seems out of place. So the channel may edit it out," says the source.

Earlier Katrina would ring up Salman every time he would make an uncharitable comment on her. "But now she has given up. She has moved on. But Salman hasn't got over his hurt.'

Last year, at Arpita's wedding, while announcing Katrina's name, Salman passed a remark, "Mai kya karoon...I gave you a chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be Katrina Kapoor'!"



On another occasion, when Katrina was present on Salman's show 'Bigg Boss', he embarrassed her by asking about the decending age of her co-stars. After working with seasoned co-stars like Salman and Akshay Kumar, she is now working with younger actors like Ranbir Kapoor. Salman said, "Aur kitna neeche jaane ka irada hai madam".



However, Salman has voiced his opinion and supported Katrina during her downfalls. At the screening of 'Ek Tha Tiger', Katrina turned up with prominent red teeka (sindoor) firmly placed on her forehead. This sparked many rumours but Salman stood by her side and was seen consoling her after the event.
