Gradually, Pratap and Ajabde started to value each other's presence. They unknowingly became a part of each other's life. They had become really good friends by diwali. Infact one day,

They went down and Pratap started

So I just texted her that dude chill it's okay kabhi kabhi hota hae. Like we were close as in she always told me her stuff.And used t help me. So when I texted her she rebutted by saying that I was no one to ask her and I was too haught since I got more marks and I was making her feel even worse. Now I am feeling guilty because of this. I mean I shouldn't have said that and I am feeling really bad and guilty and I cannot concentrate also.

Ajabde was stunned to hear this. She never expected any girl to impact him so much. And she always knew about phool. He had told her. She was this girl who would get boyfriends easily and used to dress in the most appealing manner. She was also damn close to Pratap. Ajabde got a little upset seeing him affected by phool she didnt know why. However, composing herself, she started,

Ajabde: Pratap, you didn't do anything wrong. You just asked her about her well being. She was maybe too frustrated because of her marks. Chill. it's not your fault. Don't feel guilty for such a mineal thing.

Pratap: But, idk why is she affecting me so much then. I have dated so many girls, but she is not same.

Ajabde ( stone-heartedly): Maybe because you like her.

Pratap: No ways. I can never like her. She most of the time bugs me with her makhras.

Ajabde: Yes you do. You think about her the whole day, you feel guilty for your actions towards her which weren't bad at all, you get affected by her and you care for her dude. Your heartlessness is gone when she is there. That means you

Ajabde at that moment trips over a stone and was about to fall when pratap catches her.

They share a deep eyelock. Then, ajabde regains her senses and says, Yes!

Pratap: No, I dont like her now.

Pratap: Ugh! You got that

Pratap: Ajabde, I dont like her. For sure. Maybe before I could but after meeting you I don't really care for her. It was just that I was feeling guilty.

Ajabde: It wasnt your fault. Chill. No need to feel such an useless guilt. Infact, feel guilty when you not reply and I get angry.

Pratap: Hahahahaha sure. Btw, you are such an awesome counsellor. Now that I talked to you, I feel so relieved and happy. Seriously, you are my only best friend

Ajabde: Best friend?

Pratap: Yeah. Oh god you didn't know? Dude! Okay so now we are best friends since you are the only one with whom I have that comfort level. So now you are My best friend okay and I don't share my friends with anyone.

Ajabde: Oh really? Such a lie. You don't even care for me. You just care for phool

Pratap: Don't take her name now na. I do care for you dude. Like really. You are one of the few people whom I care for

Ajabde: Wow! So then care to call me in your wedding atleast. Hahahaha

Pratap: I guess a bride is always called in her wedding. He smirked. Ajabde had butterflies in her stomach but she controlled her blush and said, but I would come as a baraati as of now.

Pratap: Why? What is wrong in me?

Ajabde: You don't have a heart

Pratap: Uhmm ya true.

Ajabde: Lol chalo see you later, bye

That conversation made them best friends. They just felt so happy after it. It was like they found their soul friends. If only they could see that they were meant to be soul mates
