have not being doing well so sort of inactive but i have been reading all the parts and loving them a lot

how you described Ruhi's vaccination was just beautiful...too many emotions involved

other then that i really liked the new angle that you have brought in by Mihika's part

as for confession and consummation i have no words it was just brilliant

all the moments actually are too relatable...buying a new car, the drive or any park visit

Chapter 74

Shaking his head at her innocence, he drive to the park. As they reached he watched her eyes lit up on seeing the ice cream like she was a small child. He smiled at her as she excitedly told him to hurry up and got out of the car. Grabbing his hand that wasn't holding Ruhi she gushed on about ice cream taking him to the stall. He watched as she looked like a child in a candy store as she looked at the different flavours of ice cream.

"Bhaiyya one black current and one lemon!" He heard her order and looked at her wondering if these were her usually flavours or just her crazy cravings kicking in again. After getting her ice cream, she began to gorge on it as they strolled in the park playing around with Ruhi. He began to show Ruhi around the places pointing out the playground and bright colors around to distract her. In between bringing Ruhi closer to a tulip and then bringing her back, he asked her how her ice cream was.

"This is the best!" She took another spoonful with animate expression while Ruhi watched her mother amused and he snaked his arms around her waist pulling her closer.

"Let me taste it." He leaned over and before he could do anything, she stuffed his mouth with a spoonful of cold black current. With his mouth freezing, he scolded her with his eyes while she and Ruhi laughed at him.

"You're in trouble madrasan."

"Oh really?" She tapped his nose putting a dot of ice cream on it which he rubbed onto her getting an angry pout from her. She angrily walked over to the bench near the playground continuing to eat her ice cream still mad at him while he whispered to Ruhi that her mumma was silly. Sitting next to her, he apologized while she continued to shrug him off. After a few minutes of sorry and please, she still didn't budge and now it was his turn to start his nautanki.

"Ishita, this is really unfair! You always do this to me." He turned his face while Ruhi looked back and forth between her parents waiting to see what would happen next. Ishita turned around and wondered if she went too far as he looked angrily at her and then played with Ruhi. Hugging him from the side, she held one ear as he looked at her with a straight face.

"Sorry..."' He couldn't resist her cute apology and kissed her forehead as he pulled her in closer.

"I was kidding." He said with a broad smile while she pouted and whined.

"Raman!"

"But seriously how do you eat black current? I hate it!"

"It's the best ice cream flavour! I've only eaten it for years!" She exclaimed taking another huge spoonful making Ruhi clap her hands seeing her parents had made up.

"Oh God! I was hoping it would be cravings, but guess I'm stuck with this." She shrugged and continued to be busy with herself as she continued eating.

"You can eat whatever you want, but it's always going to be black currant for me!"

"It doesn't matter to me. Ruhi and I are always going to be chocolate, right Ru?" He asked his daughter making her bounce on his lap all excited as they were finally talking to her and giving attention to her. They laughed as Ruhi tried to reach for the ice cream Ishita fed him and was angry on not been given any. And then it took them a lot of tickling and showering of kisses to make up for upsetting their princess.

They walked around the playground as Ruhi became the center of attention and new toy for a group of kids. Raman held onto Ruhi not wanting getting hurt where she just had vaccinations while he played with the kids. Ishita sat on the side watching him laugh with the kids and admired the sight in front of her.

After playing with the kids, he slumped onto the bench exhausted while she took Ruhi from him. He threw his arm back while she caressed his tired face asking him if he had fun.

"Loads of fun. I love them, but they're a handful."

"But they're so cute. And you did keep them entertained."

"I'm quite the entertainer."

"I know it's like-" She couldn't continue further as she began to suddenly cough. He reached for her bag and pulled out her water bottle when Ruhi also began to cough. He took her into his arm and gave her water as well when he saw why they were coughing so suddenly. He also saw a few other kids staying away as they were also coughing it they came nearby.

"Hold Ruhi." He told her as they both were okay and she knew what was on his mind.

"Raman don't say anything."

"Hold her. I won't do anything." She took Ruhi and watched nervously as he walked over to the group of people smoking right behind them. She knew it was the smoke that made her cough, but knowing Raman's nature, she didn't want him to find out. Walking behind him, she saw tap a man's shoulder...

"Excuse me."

"What is it?" The man turned and looked at Raman irritated.

"Could you please smoke somewhere else?"

"Why?"

"I'm just asking because my wife and daughter are having trouble. And so are so many other kids."

"So? Who are you to tell me what to do?"

"I'm asking because there is no smoking allowed here and people are having problems because of you. Can you please go somewhere else?"

"No. Now what?"

"I'm asking once more will you please move somewhere else away from my family and all these children?"

"We won't. So maybe you should leave."

"Raman let's go." Ishita came over scared of what was happening.

"Wait a minute, why should all of us leave if you're not the one following laws and harming people?"

"Are you a cop? Or some lawyer? Unless you are why should we listen to you? No reason to listen at all." He pushed Raman slightly.

"I'll show you why." Raman slapped him while Ishita held back his other arm not wanting this to any worse than it already had gotten.

"Raman please!"

He didn't pay heed to hear words as everyone had gotten into a huge argument and now it was getting violent. She tried to stop him as she knew there were too many people on the other side and he would get her, but he was in no mood to stop. She watched him punch, kick and slap, someone's nose was bleeding while others fell because of his kicks. She looked at him in awe for a few moments as he handled the 5-6 people alone while others watched. It was only when he got hit on his head that she realized what was going on and she got a bit closer to him pleading him to stop.

"No! Stop it Raman!" He got up and turned around to grab the collar of the person who hit him and she knew this would end up horribly. She saw her daughter clutching onto her while she had put her hand over her eyes to avoid seeing this and found his weakness.

"Raman! Ruhi!" She immediately got his attention as he turned to them worried what happened to his daughter. He ran to them pulling them both into a hug while Ishita cried on his chest.

"Please stop it Raman." She trembled in his arms scared of everything that was going on while he kissed her hair mumbling a sorry. Seeing how scared she was and how he hadn't stop though heard her pleading over and over again, he felt horrible for doing all this. He broke their hug and took Ruhi from her. She clutched onto his shirt and looked with at him while he gave her a crooked smile.

"She seems scared." Ishita managed to tell him only making him feel guiltier about all this. Hugging Ruhi, he pulled Ishita closer putting his arm around her shoulder protectively. Looking back they heard police sirens and someone asking them to leave. She grabbed his hand tightly and told him she didn't want to stay here any longer. They all rushed to their car and silently without another word began to drive away...

As they drove in sheer silence, she kept on shooting him angry looks while he looked away scared of her anger more than anything. Looking straight at the road, he saw her glaring at him from the corner of his eye. He was about to ask her what she kept on looking at, but before he could...

"Stop!" He slammed the brakes right away and quickly placed his hand on her stomach as she jerked forward.

"What happened?"

"Raman, you're bleeding a lot. Do you have anything to stop it?" She touched his forehead making him flinch and her concern grow.

"There's a small kit in the trunk." He was about to get out, but she got out of the car before him and quickly got the first aid kit. She sat back in the car and asked him to lean forward. Seeing his blood, her eyes watered without her even knowing and she slowly began to clean his wound with trembling hands.

"What?" He asked while she gave him a seriously angry look and continued to do clean up his wound.

"What happened now?" He asked again and seeing him so relaxed make her anger grow.

"Nothing, nothing at all! Just that my genius husband went around picking fights with people and got hurt! Is that a reason enough to be mad?!" He held her hand stopping her from tending to him and held it in between his hands.

"Ishita you and everyone else were getting disturbed because of them."

"So? We could have just moved away!"

"And what about all the other kids? Should I just go and then let them be there? In a few years when Ruhi goes out to play on her own, and something like this happens, wouldn't you want someone helping her?" She knew he had a point, but fighting was still not right to her.

"But you told me you have gotten rid of your anger!"

"Not if someone harms you or Ruhi!" His eyes showed his anger, his care for his family and his protectiveness. But she still couldn't get her eyes off his wound and the moment she saw him get hit, so she took her hand from his and forward to him.

"Promise me you won't get into any fights!"

"Okay fine, promise." He placed his hand into hers and she hugged him while she mumbled against his chest...

"I can't see you hurt...don't ever be so reckless again."

"I promise I won't..."

"Now drive home, I'm hungry again." He chuckled at her while she laughed as well lightening up the mood. He broke their hug laughing at her.

"Bukkad!"

"Yep, now you have to deal with that your whole life."

"I don't mind at all."

"You better not! Otherwise me and Ruhi will gang up, right pumpkin?" She pointed at him making Ruhi giggle and gurgle as he began to drive back.

Reaching their home, they could hardly recognize it for a moment. Mrs. Bhalla was standing outside having people put up decorations. It was as if the whole house was decorated as a bride. Bright lights, red curtains, flowers everywhere, and a celebration awaiting was all they could see as they got out of their car. Ruhi was amazed at the sight of the decorations and was ready to leap out of her dad's arms looking at flowers and lights everywhere.

"Wow, so beautiful." Ishita looked at the grand decorations reminding her of their wedding as the house was grandly decorated like this back then.

"It is isn't it? This year our house is also decorated." Mrs. Bhalla walked over to the trio admiring the house.

"For what?" Ishita asked confused.

"Tomorrow's Karvachauth. For so many years we didn't celebrate, but this year you're here and we'll celebrate. And Mihika told me she's also going to be joining in with you." Mrs. Bhalla looked happily at her house once again decorated for a celebration that hadn't been celebrated for over a decade. Raman knowing what was going on in her mind, hugged her while she gave him a smile.

"My first Karvachauth! For Raman..." Ishita wondered aloud looking at him. She couldn't even imagine ever being hungry, but when she saw him. She didn't want what it was in her, but she felt the need to do it for him. She never believed in any of this, but today thinking about him, she wanted to do it for him, his long life, and his health.

He brought her out of her thoughts when he told her and his mother...

"Oh hello! Maa there is no way she's doing any fasting. For anyone!"

"But Raman I-" She tried to protest really wanting to do this for him, but he wouldn't budge.

"No, your health is more important than anything else."

"He's right Ishita. I was going to say the same. The house is decorated, you'll get your sargi and get mehendi done, and then eat from his hands after looking at the moon. But you eat and take care throughout the day too." Her mother-in-law also agreed with him leaving her no choice, but to be disappointed.

"Okay...but next year, I'll get to fast!"

"Pakka, but tomorrow I don't want you doing any of that."

"Yes sir!"

"Good, now let's go inside, I'm so tired."

"That is obvious, look at you! What did you do to yourself?" Santosh pointed to his forehead to which he looked away sheepishly while Ishita smirked wondering what he will tell his mother.

"Nothing, I just fell."

"Then watch where you're going!" She slapped his arm to which he rolled his eyes muttering "whatever" and walked off with Ruhi while the two women looked at each other wondering what they would ever do with him...

Their evening flew by as she was busying taking care of Ruhi and making dinner while everyone else was running around trying to finish their last minute preparations. She watched Raman making phone calls, and telling everyone what to do. He told Mihika and Santosh to go eat while he would take care of anything else that needed to be done. She was eating, but her eyes were only on him as he was so tired from the day, getting into a fight didn't help and now he was running around preparing for tomorrow.

After everyone finished up and were ready to hit their beds, he was going over the list of what to do when she snatched it from him and handed him a dinner plate. Picking up his pen, she checked through to see what needed to be done and seeing almost everything was done, she quickly finished up what was left as he ate and watched over Ruhi.

As it was near midnight and they got ready for bed, she was arranging the bed while he gave Ruhi her medicine after a load of tantrums from his darling. She asked him to have Ruhi sleep with them today as she kept on coughing and she was getting worried. Knowing she couldn't sleep in peace without knowing Ruhi was okay, he agreed and showed his disappointment on not getting time with her...

"Oh man!" He lay down after putting Ruhi to sleep.

"What?"

"I was just thinking, we already have Ruhi who sleeps with us, mostly she does. And then we will have the baby soon who will also be in this room with us. See 2 huge problems!"

"What 2 problems? Are you calling the kids problems?"

"No! I mean first of all does this room even have space for another child. I don't think we can fit more clothes into our cupboard or fit another crib in here. And the 2nd problem is the biggest one!"

"What?"

"If both the kids sleep with us, then when will we get to be alone? I mean when do we get our time?"

"Raman, you're too much!"

"I'm not! Think about it, you wanted us to have some time last night and we didn't get it. Tonight we won't either. For God's sake we've been married for 2 months and only been able to spend a night together once!"

"Raman, are you serious about this problem thing?"

"Yea! We will have no time together with Ru and the baby with us. I can build more space by turning the spare room next to ours into a nursey. It can easily fit both kids, but Ruhi will sleep alone, the baby won't. Then what will we do?"

"We'll figure it out. And we have 5 more months to have our alone time before the baby arrives."

"Ishita you'll have to sort this. Because I need my fair share of you!" He complained like a child.

"Raman! You're such a child. Already worried your kids will be more loved by me."

"Of course. I still remember this morning, you left me and went to Ruhi!" He pouted while she laughed.

"Awww my biggest baby is so jealous of his baby! So cute!" She reached over and pinched his cheeks and he frowned.

"I'm not cute yaar!"

"You are very cute!" She pecked his cheeks making him happy and she shook her head seeing childishness.

He turned away faking anger on being cute while she hugged him. He turned around and told her he needed her just as much as the kids to which she promised him they would get time together. And that was enough for him to calm down and finally try to sleep. Stroking his hair when he was asleep, she kissed his forehead...

"You're so silly... you don't realize that I want to be with you more than anyone else and I always will try to spend all the time I can with you..." She kissed him once again and finally closed her eyes sleeping with their hands intertwined on top of Ruhi as they all slept peacefully...

He looked for Ishita everyone, asked everyone about her, but she was nowhere to been seen.

She had her back turned to him as she was busy on the phone. Raman walked behind her only to hear...

"But I love you!"

So many emotion in one update. How you fit everything perfectly. First cutie Ishu with Icecream demand plus feeding Raman the one he did not like the taste.😆 Then go Raman realease his childhood moment with the kids in the park and end up fighting with people who smoke there and Madam found Raman weakness to stop his fight by just said Ruhi name👏👏 and our hero get hit and he more angry she drag him back home with bleeding head and takecare of him. All this our cheerleader Ruhi was involve with mommy and papa and she so enjoy to be a part of them.😊 Back home KC house decoration and I was thinking how she will fast cause she is pregnant and lucky her to get NIL like Toshi and she very understanding mom.👏 At night she take over Raman work for him to eat and bed room was cute with big baby Raman jeoulous and want Ishima time like his kids.and he even thinking about how everyone will fit in the same room wow good thinking ahead but mostly he want more time from Ishu at night😳😳 Awesome update and again precap is creepy who she talk to and hope Raman will not Have suspect her.
