The episode starts with Dhruv thinking that he may have said yes to the proposal but it's only because he wants to see whether Thapki still loves him or not. He thinks that if she still loves him then this plan will rekindle the feelings she has for him and says that if Thapki loves him then will stop him from getting married. Thapki walks up to him and tells him to marry Shraddha but only if he is willing to accept the relationship wholeheartedly. She tells him not to make a mistake of getting married because he's angry and wants to prove a point. Dhruv then tells her that he no longer has a complete heart because after what happened; his heart was left incomplete. He asks her not to worry because he's doing everything as per his wish and he has already thought about what he's doing. He leaves while Thapki thinks about him not being happy even after saying he is doing everything as per his wish. Vasundara witnesses everything and walks over to Thapki after Dhruv leaves and tells her she needs to show her something important.Vasundara takes a confused Thapki to Dhruv's room and asks her to take a good look at the room. Still confused, Thapki asks her to explain what she means and why she brought her into Dhruv's room. Vasundara asks her to look at the bed sheet and pillowcases which are all black with no colour. She opens his wardrobe and shows her all his clothes are dull colours. Thapki asks her why she's showing her all this and suddenly Vasundara pulls out a suitcase and opens it, showing Thapki that Dhruv has packed away all his colourful clothes. She tells Thapki that Dhruv had started wearing colours when she walked into his life and filled it with joy and colour but after what Bihaan did; every colour from Dhruv's life had blurred out. Thapki tells her that even she wishes for Dhruv to move ahead in his life and also says she asked Dhruv personally to get married to Shraddha. Vasundara emotionally blackmails her and tells her that Dhruv only agreed to get married on her insistence but he didn't mean it from the heart as his first love is still in his heart. She tells Thapki that Dhruv won't be able to make new memories if the old memories are still enclosed somewhere in the heart, Vasundara then tells Thapki she said a small lie to Dhruv in order to make him move on. Thapki asks her what lie she told and Vasundara says she told him that Thapki said she would like to give her marriage with Bihaan a chance. A shocked Thapki asks her why she lied and Vasundara asks her how Dhruv will move on if she doesn't. She then says she loves her son and her heart has shattered seeing him in darkness and restless not knowing what to do. She folds her hands and begs Thapki telling her that she's the only one who can give Dhruv a new life. Thapki holds her hands, asking her not to beg as she promises to do anything to make Dhruv's wedding a success. Vasundara tells her she will have to pretend and make Dhruv believe that she really wants to give her relation with Bihaan a chance. Thapki says her mother told her to face all the problems in her in law's house before they face them. She promises to fulfill her wish and says Dhruv is now someone she can't have in her life but she will make sure he gets Shraddha into his life. Vasundara smiles and hugs her.Later that night, Thapki heads downstairs to get some water lost in her thoughts. She nearly falls but Bihaan holds her and asks her where her attention is. Thapki stares blankly into space and walks ahead without giving him an answer. Bihaan starts thinking about Thapki's sudden change in behaviour only after Dhruv agreed to get married and finds it strange.The following morning, Aditi is shown taking the newspaper and looking at her picture with Diwakar which seems to be a little bit blurred. Krishnakanth asks for the paper while Aditi cries. He reads the news and sees that a boy and girl were spotted getting intimate in a hotel room. Poonam says that the kids of this generation don't think about their parents before doing such cheap and shameless acts. Aditi listen to them from afar and cries. Her father says they are blessed as their children have good manners and they won't do anything of this sort but if it does happen then he will die due to shame. Poonam tells him that their children have good qualities and let alone doing such an act, they can't even think of it. Krishnakanth says he is proud of their children.Vasundara talks to a priest and gets the auspicious date for Dhruv's engagement. She thanks him and after he leaves, Dhruv walks over to his mother who tells him that the auspicious date that the priest is after 10 days, shocking Dhruv. She asks him to take leave from office and go shopping with her but he says that he has important work which he can't leave undone. He tells her to buy anything and he will wear it then turns to leave but stops halfway when he hears Vasundara calling Thapki who comes downstairs with Bihaan by her side and informs her about the date. Vasundara purposely asks Thapki to handle everything with her as she won't be able to handle things alone knowing that Dhruv can hear their conversation. Dhruv stands waiting for Thapki's response and is appalled when he hears Thapki agreeing. Her decision also shocks Bihaan and he wonders why Thapki said yes. He walks to her and tells her he's glad knowing that she wants to take care of his engagement arrangements but he'll be happier if she does it with Bihaan. He carries on saying Bihaan is his brother who has done a lot for his happiness so he won't mind doing this too. Bihaan looks on shocked and Dhruv says that they are now husband and wife so they should help him together. Thapki says she won't have any problems doing the arrangements with Bihaan. This shocks both brothers and Dhruv asks her to do the arrangements well with Bihaan. He leaves while Bihaan looks at Thapki, shocked and confused at the same time then he walks away and goes upstairs. Thapki tells Vasundara she'll inform Bihaan about their plan but Vasundara asks her not to do anything of that sort because Bihaan will tell Dhruv everything. Thapki promises not to tell Bihaan and the screen freezes on her sad face.Precap: Dhruv shows Thapki two rings while Bihaan is on the phone with his back to them. Thapki looks at the rings and tells Dhruv that they aren't the rings he chose for himself and Shraddha. Dhruv tells her she's right they aren't the same rings because he chose the rings for her and Bihaan. He hands over the rings to Thapki and shocks her saying he'll only get engaged to Shraddha when she gets engaged to Bihaan.
