Comparing Shahid to Abhishek is unfair. The only decent film he's done WITHOUT his fathers help is Guru, other than that he's mediocre at best and only manages to scrape by when he stars alongside his father, or other established actors (SRK, AK, AD).

Shahid is actually an excellent actor who makes poor choices. He needs to stick to non-commercial cinema with films like Kaminey and Haider as he seems to excel in this branch. The only commercial films that have worked for him are Vivah, and Jab We Met. If he stops chasing commercial success he should be fine.

When the Khans retire and one decade has gone by I feel Shahid will be one of those actors who will take their roles in masala films that people seem to enjoy to be honest.

Cocktail - well for me the best thing about it was the music + Dimple, then Deepi then Penti. SAK was the weakest link, and a terrible climax/ending.

RamLeela - was a decent film, DP + RS chemistry was super hot. DP was the best thing about it though.

Findin Fanny - again, Dimple stole the show for me. Arjun was also shockingly good. Deepika was wasted man.
