Well not to sound like a buzz kill and although I loved today's episode, however there is one slight thing that irked me today.

Okay, so Manik was portrayed as a larger than life character, as Yuvraj Thakur said in one of his interviews. Everything about Manik Malhotra screams luxury and exciting and something every guy wants and every girl desires. His entry was one of the best entries and he was the man that every girl in space academy dreamed of. But then Nandini came in his life and he changed. He mellowed down, a lot of things about him changed...
But what never changed was his attitude and his way of talking.. and his composure.
Maybe the cvs are trying to show that he is going through a really bad and insecure phase of his life and that he was really shocked and did not know how to frame his thoughts...
but I felt so weird when THE MANIK MALHOTRA was saying things like yaar and stuff? I mean with Nandini? (with fab 5 i still get it.)
I don't know. I felt it was a little off the character, maybe?
And then seeing Manik Malhotra struggle for words and finish his dialogue.. I've never seen the character like this ever.
I'm a very honest critic and I do not get influenced so easily by other's opinion or my own opinion of someone else. But somewhere Parth Samthaan needs a few more episodes to get into the feel of Manik Malhotra again.
He's a great actor with a lot of potential however, the break he took from acting can be seen clearly in last 2 episodes. His emotional scenes used to move me but this time, I felt what he was trying to show but I did not get moved.
I love Manan chemistry and today's episode was nice but I am sure we all want that spunky Manik back. The one who held attitude like he had copyrights on the freaking term!
And I am sure you all agree with me that we want Manik to be that classy guy again who only loses his exterior when in front of Nandini..
I like Season 2 but just because the cvs have changed, the director has changed and a lot of other have changed, DOES NOT mean that KY2 loses its originality, its essence.
We, as fans and true critics did not demand for season 2 and return of manik from the dead only to watch ky2 lose itself in front of our eyes.
The director makes or breaks the actor. Shashank and Rajeev did a great job with Manik's character and Parth's acting potential. However this new director is not making the best.

Somewhere in trying to make everything youth oriented and "realistic" and not melo dramatic they are completely toning down the actors' potential to convey emotions that Richa and others worked so hard in building up in the previous season.
My personal opinion.
Bashing is so not required. Especially if you are a biased fan do not even try. I know a lot of fans like you. So back off.
