Arvind would have been nominated anyways. As far as the conspiracy goes, already two very strong contenders were nominated, had the contestants been given a chance Rochelle, Suyyash and maybe Prince would have been nominated. It's too early in the game to eliminate strong, content providing contestants over contestants like Digangana and Arvind.

Also last year, they had to bear contestants like Upen and Natasha for a considerably long time because they weren't nominated.
Upen literally stayed numb for almost half the season, yet he was in the show due to the nominations.

I don't think its ''research'' team's fault .. because some of the contestants they picked this year looks good on paper, eg, Aman -with a buzz worthy controversy, Roopal/Ankit -talked about breakup, was expected to ignite old flames, Digs -controversy surrounding her co-stars, Prince -fresh off winning controversial reality shows with a rapid fanbase etc. The celebs are not auditioned for BB...so of course it's hard to guess how they will be in the house. Who expected Prince to turn out a dumb, Digs a phuski while Mandana being the most talked about of all this season...
