Here is a little fan fiction i conjured up.....I hope you like it, and please feel free to criticize, I won't mind.
A few things though,
- The dad is dead, and I made it take place a year after the death, so the story will kick off from there, but nothing has happened yet, I mean Ganga's not married to anybody or anything.
- Tara, however, is married.
Part 1...pg 1
Enjoy!
Snow was falling today. Softly, smoothly, quietly, and beautifully. The trees, were brimming with white, the flowers coated, and amidst the falling fluff, stood Ganga, her arms spread wide, her eyes closed shut, her nose crinkled due to the cold, her head upturned towards the sky while her mouth worked itself into a stunning smile.
It hadn't snowed in a while Ganga thought, the snow always brought back memories of her father, and how she would make a small sized snow ball and hurl in at her father when he was unawares. Ganga's smile slowly faded at the thought of her father, it had been a year since his death, life felt as though it was at a stand still. So far, they had been receiving insurance money, in a few weeks, that would stop coming. Her mother always remained quite, but her Buah….well that was another story. Some day's Ganga wanted to wring her Aunts neck. Today, however, her Aunt was not at home, she had left for a friends house, and Ganga heart hoped she would never come back, but she new that was impossible, the witch would come back.
Ganga smiled as she saw Tara make her way through the snow, Tara was her best friend, her best married friend. Her only friend actually.
Tara was shivering "What in god's name is wrong with you women!?"
Ganga picked up some snow and decided to throw it at Tara, and Tara did exactly what Ganga new Tara would do.
"GANGA!!!! YOU LITTLE!……."
Tara picked up a even bigger wad of snow, and the rest happened on it's own.

"Damn, it sure is cold here"
Sagar made that statement to his coworker.
Raj looked over and smiled, "Haha, you're a week city boy, that's what you are."
Sagar made a face at Raj, the only reason they had to come to this freezer was because their company was to unclog the pipes due to the snow, they designed the pipes, which meant they had to unclog them, or this whole village would erode.
"Why did we have to build them a water faucet, they could just use the lake water" Sagar was irritated due to the cold, he really didn't care about the faucet.
"Don't be a jackass Sagar, these people have ONE water faucet for the WHOLE village, and you have one in every room, for just four people"
Sagar rolled his eyes and smiled, "I know, I was just kidding, lets get moving, I need a heater right now"

Savitry looked at her watch, she wraped her parka a little tighter around her self, and took a step outside.
The breath whooshed out of her lungs, "My goodness, it is cold out here, where in the world is Ganga, she is going to catch a cold, that girl will never learn!"
"GANGA!"
Savitry knew it was no use, but she thought she would give it a try and yell for her daughter, she shook her head and went back inside to the kitchen, because it was the warmest place in the house.

"WHAT THE……."
Sagar was thrown off kilter when a snow ball the size of a basketball hit him in the arm.
"RAJ, THIS IS NOT FUNNY, IM COLD AS A FREEZER, AND YOUR TRHOWING SNOW AT ME….ARE YOU A CHILD!"
Sagar turned around, and saw that Raj was laughing so hard that tears were coming out of his eyes.
"It's not funny Raj!"
"You know what's funny Sagar, it's funny that a girl half your size just hit you with a giant snow ball!"
Raj continued laughing, and Sagar quickly looked to his right…nothing….then his left…..and he could have sworn he saw a snow angel…..
The girl looked straight at him, her big black eyes saw into his soul, she was biting her lip, and her face changed from playful to sorry in a heartbeat, he knew she didn't mean to pelt him…but he was happy that she did.

Ganga saw the stranger, and felt horrible for throwing the snow ball at him, she decided to run away before the man lost his temper on her……

Sagar turned around to look back at Raj.
"Did you see that?"
"See what?"
"Her…."
Sagar turned to point at the girls direction….but she was gone.
"HAHA…yea I did see her, a beauty! A beauty who can throw a heck of a snow ball!"
"Shut up, get your but out of the snow, we came here to fix the pipes, not stalk the village girls"
"I'm not stalking them Sagar, you are."
*
"Ganga, are you crazy, look at yourself. Tara's husband will come and scold you for drenching Tara in snow along with yourself"
"No no, mumi ji, don't worry about it"
Savitry gave the girls the "mean motherly look",
"Go inside, and clean yourself up Ganga"
Ganga smiled, and gave her mother a hug. Savitry relented and hugged her right back.
"One of these day's Ganga, I swear you will be the death of me"
Ganga looked up, her eyes filled with unleashed tears, she shook her head in a vehement 'no'.
" If only I could hear your voice before I die Ganga"
Ganga let her tears fall, if only she could speak, she would tell her mother that she would rather die then see the pain in her mothers eyes.
