You could also say that she might not have found as much courage to voice herself without him, because here she knows that no matter whatever happens she will ALWAYS have his support. If she was alone she might have had to play the game more carefully to keep her allies.

Looking at her tirade (in the bathroom and the garden area) after the session with Salman yesterday, she obviously sees no mistakes/flaws in herself, her opinion/arguments (or Suyyash). There is no introspection there or even a consideration that she/they could be wrong. She went on the defensive...and also told Suyyash - "we know what we did, you don't take it to heart"...which signals that she thinks they were right.

There was no need for her to jump to Suyyash's defence...and that too, jump in with twisted arguments.
