The second round of female bashing begins, as Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 opened this Friday. The first part was a sleeper hit and a cult favourite, at least among the boys!

The first film was widely derided, especially by the female viewers for being too one sided and skewered in its thoughts. As a cinema lover, I agree with a few of those points, but as a male, I can't help at laugh when the film pokes fun at certain female traits. Well, I saw the second film yesterday and nothing has changed much. Poking at female traits is still full on, while the leading female characters are just the worst of their kind. The guys are losers who just can't their own love lives and deserve to be single forever!

Anyways, it is a good change for those who are bored with the usual romantic fare and wanted to see somewhat realistic even if not one-sided portrayal of love. After all not every one among us is a die-hard romantic Shah Rukh Khan from heart. There is a cynic residing everyone of us, and he comes out only when we either get dumped or when the guy/girl we love hooks up with someone else!
