As he drove her to work Raman and Mihika were busy talking. All the while, Mihika tried to hide her laughter as she kept on thinking about her teasing to Ishita all the while how Raman was so clueless. He continued to talk casually, while Mihika tried to act normal and hide her excitement. However it became awkward when Mihika's phone rang and seeing the name on her phone, she cut the call as she saw him Raman. He felt like she wasn't picking up the call since he was around, but brushed it off. When the same thing repeated 2 more times, he asked her if she wanted him to pull over so she could talk alone. She refused and they continued to drive, but a small distance away from her office, Mihika remembered something and yelled out...

"Jiju, stop right here!" Slamming the brakes, he got the car to halt with a shriek as they jerked forward. Looking at her confused and shocked by her suddenly weird behavior he asked...

"What happened?"

"Sorry, actually I just remembered that we can't go ahead, there will be too much traffic and you'll get late. I'll just walk the next block." He was completely unconvinced and wondered what was up with her...

"It's okay I can drop you, I won't be late."

"No I'll walk. I should go now, bye." She quickly got out of the car before he could say anything to her leaving her perplexed.

"Weird...kinda like her sister." He smiled at the thought of Ishita's strange behavior during her mood swings. And as he began to drive off, he called her up.

Ishita who was engrossed in her laptop, looked surprised as he called up so soon. But happily picked up the phone...

"Raman! I said call me, but not 10 minutes after you leave."

"I know, but I wanted to talk to you and I'm alone."

"Mihika reached work?"

"Yea I just dropped her and confirmed one thing."

"What?"

"Craziness runs in your family."

"So rude!"

"I'm just kidding, so what are you doing?"

"I was looking at some sites, new clothes for Ruhi."

"In orange?"

"Maybe."

"You'll never change!" He laughed while she also giggled.

"Never! Now listen, seriously. Ruhi is growing, and I really need more clothes for her, so can you send the car over for us to go out today?"

"Today?"

"Yea, but if you need the car, then that okay, we'll go another day."

"Kind of, we'll do one thing. Today after I come home, we'll go, get you a car, then you can go wherever you want, whenever you want."

"Raman! Are you mad? A new car?!" She asked him again wanting to know her ears weren't lying to her.

"No I'm okay, and you need a car. I never bought a second one thinking I would never need it. Mom goes out with her friends and only goes nearby, so she never needed one. But you do. And I don't want you to drive in your old one, your parents use it and it's their only car."

"But all of a sudden?" She still couldn't believe he was being serious about another car.

"Why not? You are always bored at home, and now you want to go out, but can't because I'm taking the car. You should go out when you want."

"You're a crazy man! Buying a car simply because I have to wait for you. You know I can adjust."

"You can, but I don't want you to. My wife doesn't need to adjust anything, and now if she has my baby, then no scope for any adjustments. If I can get you a new car, then why shouldn't I?"

"Raman I don't need it."

"Fine, I'm not buying you a car, I'm giving you my old one and getting a new one. Now will you let me buy one?"

"You're crazy! And you won't change your mind?"

"Nope! I told you, no adjustments, no compromising! You, Ru and baby can go anywhere when you want."

She knew he wouldn't budge, but was overwhelmed by what he was doing. It wasn't a display of his money, it was another decision he was taking without thinking of anything beside her and the children. Though she didn't care for his money and big gifts, but his words gave her more happiness than anything.

"I love you." She whispered and kissed her phone while a smile appeared on his face.

"I love you more...now you and Ruhi be ready when I come. Car shopping with you two and then I have something else in mind for you. Just for you..."

"Fine, you stubborn man." And she heard him chuckle over the phone.

"Bye!" he hung up the phone while she picked up Ruhi who was gurgling listening to her parent's conversation. Placing her daughter in her lap, she tickle her as she kept on thinking about his words and sudden decision.

"Ru, your dad is so crazy! He's buying us a new car! I mean who does that? So impulsive...but he's so sweet. He doesn't care about anything else, just what we want. So soon Ru will be going with Mumma in the new car! All thanks to Papa!" She nuzzled her daughter getting a burst of giggles in return.

She got up with Ruhi in her arms as she thought of something. Whispering into Ruhi's ear, she got her smiling...

"You want to give Papa a surprise?" And Ruhi clapped her hands as Ishita kissed her cheeks.

2 hours later

"Ishita!" She heard a voice call out her name right as she had walked into the building carrying an overly excited Ruhi in her arms. She looked to the front desk to find the receptionist as the source of voice.

"Hey!" She walked over to her giving her a huge smile as a few people around seemed quite surprised to see her.

"How are you? I never saw you after those few days! Where have you been?"

"I'm doing great. I work from home now, so you don't see me anymore."

"So what brings you here today?"

"I came to see Raman, is he free right now?" Hearing her say Raman instead of the usual Mr. Bhalla caught some attention, but others already knew what it was all about.

"Mr. Bhalla? I think he's in a meeting right now. I'll check on that for you."

"My wife and daughter can meet me anytime." They heard a voice call out from behind them. Ruhi was ready to jump away from her arms into his while he left his things into his manager's hands and rushed over to them grabbing his very excited daughter showering her with kisses while Ishita looked at him. He called to get Ishita something to drink. She looked around watching the entire office pleasantly surprised and shocked at the Raman Kumar Bhalla's sweet father side and his loving husband side while she just looked on smiling. He noticed the sudden attention they were getting and simply grabbed her hand as he ordered the receptionist.

"Call Mr. Verma, let them know I'll be a bit late."

"Are you busy? I just came to drop your lunch, we'll go." Ishita asked him as they walked up to his cabin while he was too busy teaching his daughter how to give a hi-five.

"No stay. The meeting isn't right now, I have some time. Right Ruhi, you wanna stay with me?" He pinched her cheeks while Ishita shook her head. As they reached his cabin and he closed the door behind tem locking it, they both sat down on the couch...

There was silence for a moment as they both remembered the first time they had met here...

"Oh hey, it's you! Come have a seat."

"You still remember me?"

"It's not everyday that a woman rejects Raman Bhalla" he said as he chuckled. "I am just joking. So you're here for the job interview?"

"Yes I am here for the secretary post."

"Okay so enough greetings, we need to get down to business now. And don't think I will go easy on you because I know you."

"If anything I'd expect you to be extra tough with me because of what I did."

And then they both remember the one incident they would hate happening right now, but it was really what had brought them together...

"Ms. Iyer? Are you okay?"

"Of course, I am fine. Could you point me to the bathroom?"

"Just use the one in my cabin. It's right there." He said pointing to a door across the room with a worried expression on his face.

She slowly made her way across the large cabin as he followed her every move as concern for her overpowered his other emotions. He heard his phone beep and looked down for a few seconds to see who it was and as he picked it up he heard...

"AHHH!"

He heard her scream and ran over to her in a matter of a few seconds & grabbed her shoulders to support her. She clutched onto her stomach and was yelping in pain.

"What happened to you?"

"My baby, my baby!" she screamed as she clutched onto his hand digging her long nails into his skin.

He couldn't understand anything that was happening and her talking about a baby just confused him further, but before he could ask her anything or react, she collapsed right in his arms.

Had she not come here that day and fainted, he would have never found out about his baby nor would she have gotten to know about her daughter. And never would anything have taken off between them forget coming to the point they were at today. Today here she was bringing him lunch just so she could see him for a bit and be with him, while he was more than excited to have some time with her in between his busy schedule. They both looked at each other as if knowing that the other was thinking about the same meeting, they gave each other a grateful smile for coming into their life in this very spot and making it what it was today.

To lighten up the mood and break the silence, he finally spoke up...

"So madam, what possessiveness!" He said as she began to lay out his lunch for him.

"What do you mean?"

"Coming to the office so no one comes near me anymore because now everyone knows about us." He said referring to what she had told him in the morning.

"Everyone would know seeing us in the paper. And anyways you are the one who told everyone I'm your wife. So if they stay away it's because of you."

"Whatever, now let me be with my Ru. First time my baby came here." He gave a huge kiss on Ruhi cheek while he took her bottle and gave her water to drink. Ruhi ignored the water as she was busy looking around the new place wondering what was going on around her.

"She's so lost. But it's so cute." He looked amazed at her clueless state while Ruhi gave him a stare as he was smiling while she was confused further on what was going on.

"Is it bad that I brought her here?" She asked wondering if he would be mad.

"Of course not. It just made my day!" He couldn't have asked for anything better than a visit from them until he realized their conversation from the morning, something she was hoping wouldn't happen.

"Hold on! How did you get here? Did you take an auto?"

"Yea..." She looked at him waiting for his scolding to begin.

"Ishita! I-"

"Sorry! But we wanted to come here and surprise you." She interrupted and hoped it would somewhat melt him.

"But-"

"You're buying a car now, so this won't happen from now on." She found the perfect way of making him stop his scolding session.

"Fine, but I'll drop you off." He didn't say anything else as she was right, but faked an anger look as she looked at him innocently. He couldn't pretend to upset when she was looking so guilty like a small child and his own small child also became quiet as she looked at her angry dad. He brought Ruhi closer to himself and held her with one arm as he put his other arm around Ishita who was happy as she was safe from his anger. All the while he held onto his girls tighter than ever.

"What happened now?" She asked him while he simply replied...

"Nothing..."
