The music director who gave us songs like Sona sona and Gur nal ishk mitha surprised everyone when he decided to participate in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It was equally shocking for Aadesh Srivastava's fans when he was eliminated in the first round of the show. We spoke to this talented man soon after his elimination. Tell us about your experience in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.I had a wonderful time. I have never danced in my life and so it was a difficult thing for me. But I don't regret participating because, in the process, I've learnt a lot of steps. The best part is that I don't plan to stop dancing now. I've decided to continue learning dance seriously and become a good dancer. Did you expect such an early elimination?
See, right from the beginning I had a very tight schedule. The show demanded that each dancer should give at least four hours a day to dance training. I could hardly give one hour. I was not keeping well, too. And I have never danced before in my life. A lot of points got cut because of the time factor, too. Anyway, one of us had to go out. This was my turn. I am fine with the decision of the judges. Will you ever participate in a dance competition again?
No, I won't do that. I think once is enough. I'll take up dance as a hobby now, and as I said, I'll continue dancing and get trained in it. Your fans are surely disheartened. Do you have a message for them?
My fans are like my friends. For them, I am coming up with an album very soon. It has a rocking video where I promise that I'll dance better than any of the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contestants. It is my challenge to them!
