Why didnt kunj stop him

Yuvi and his mom Anita need to get arrested and spend time in jail. Both have crossed the line a number of times especially with putting acid in the Haldi.

Just think when Kunj and Twinkle finally do get married all they will remember is all the troubles Yuvi caused in every wedding function. Ideally Kunj should have told Leela that Yuvi put acid in the haldi so that he would have been arrested but just to stretch the story they keep letting Yuvi getting away with his stupid and dangerous behavior.
