Tashan-e-Ishq: Sonica D'Souza calls it quits

The actress cites dissatisfaction from her character as her reason to leave

Zee TV's romance and revenge drama, Tashan-e-Ishq starring Jasmin Bhasin, Siddhant Gupta and Syed Zain Imam, has started to gain immense popularity owing to the rapid twists and turns the makers have been offering. Given that the show is on the rise, you'd think that all the characterswould be happy to be part of it. That, however, is not true in the case of Sonica D'Souza who plays Kunj's love interest Alisha on the show. Reportedly, Sonica was not happy with her character and so she decided to quit the show.

The actress confirmed the news to an entertainment portal saying, "Yes, I have quit the show. The makers have kept my departure open ended, as they might call me back. I was not satisfied the way my character was shaping up. They had promised me something completely different."

Now that sounds pretty reasonable. But what about her way ahead? Well, the girl is adamant on doing something more vital. She said, ""I am open doing any good TV show. If anything interesting comes my way, I will surely take it up."

SPOILER: After his plan to humiliate Twinkle by showing their conversation on TV as a live feed fails, Yuvraj take it to the stage to announce about his affair and also mentions about the animosity between the two families. Obviously, everyone present there is shocked.

if she is an innocent and very loving and caring person and that makes Twinkle looks bad in everybody eyes, I can say her character will be very nice..😉
