Okay, so I know I haven't Updated Blast From the Past in a while, Okay a Looong while. Apologies. I have been caught up! And I had promised another FF about our star couple. But I am still working on the entire plotline for that. I have the basic theme but I have stories and backgrounds to decide for that FF. But here is an OS about Virika from the initial months of the show.
This OS happens on the night when Viren and Swamini Bua finally patch up after the New Year incident with Viraat and Maanvi. Please keep in mind that at this point Virika have already shared their first kiss but they have not slept together yet! They are still pretty new to the whole marriage thing. Also, Viren had once told Jeevika that he loves her before the wedding back in Rishikesh. Jeevika on the other hand has made no such confessions. Well... Not yet atleast!
It was almost 1 AM. Jeevika lay in bed reading a novel on her phone. She had her phone in her right hand and her left hand lay casually under her right cheek as she lay facing Viren who was sleeping with his back to her.
Under any other circumstances it was impossible for anyone or anything to break her attention from a book. Ever since she was a little girl her books had been her best friends. She would zone out in between discussions, debates and important situations because she was so engrossed in Pride and Prejudice' or Kane and Abel'. But today, everytime she would try to read the next line, she couldn't focus on what the boy said to the girl. She would repeatedly find the light on her cellphone switch off because she hadn't scrolled a page in so long because she was staring at her husband's back and thinking about him. When this happened for the 7th time she quietly muttered to herself, "God! What is wrong with me?" and continued trying to read the book.
She was somewhere in her third line when she felt a weight on her waist, just above her hipbone. She looked down to see a palm resting in the pit between in ribs and her hips. As she looked up she saw Viren looking at her face, gazing intently at her grey eyes, a smile playing on his lips.
"VirenJi. Mujhe laga aap so gaye."
"Nahi abhi nahi!" he muttered quietly. He would not take his eyes off of hers. She had no idea how long they had been staring at each other before she lowered her eyes as a blush crept up her cheek. Before she knew it his hands were sliding up her waist. Jeevika sucked in breath expecting his hands to go by the side of her chest; instead Viren touched her arm, came slowly up to her shoulders and was slowly stroking the side of her neck with his thumb. "Thank you" he said making her open her eyes and look at him again.
"Thank you?"
"New years ki raat jo kuch bhi hua usmein and uske baad aayi harr problem mein mera saath dene ke liye. Jeevika tumne Maanvi se bhi... Sirf mere liye."
"Maanvi ki galti thi Virenji. Aur maine aisa kuch nahi kiya jiske liye aapko mujhe thank you' bolna pade!"
He let go off her shoulder and crept his band down her arm till her reached her wrist. Pulling her palm from underneath her cheek he placed a soft wet kiss on the inside of her palm, and then one more on the inside of her wrist. He saw her eyes momentarily widen before she lowered them again. Smiling to himself he took her phone from her hand and dropped it on the bed. He shifted his body slightly towards her in an attempt to reduce the distance between them a little and brought his face closer to hers. She could feel his warm breath on her lips and even with her eyes closed she knew instantly that her lips were what Viren was looking at.
Softly he placed his lips on hers and kissed her tenderly before intensifying the kiss just a little. Before either of them realised Viren was on top of her kissing her passionately holding his weight up by his own arms, while her hands rested on his chest. When they eventually pulled away from each other it was to catch their breath. Jeevika opened her eyes first and saw him breathing through his mouth. She felt a rush of feelings both emotional and physical, none of which she recognized. Lately the minute she looked at him it would make her heart ache. His smile, his eyes, his blush, his smirk and the look in his eyes when he just stares at her like she is worshipping her through his eyes. She knew she didn't deserve any of this admiration, she had done nothing to be deserve it afterall. But she didn't understand why she liked it so much and why it made her heart swell with joy. Even physically, the minute he would touch her everything, every nerve in her body would stand in attention at his touch. She didn't know what it was that she was feeling, the pacing of her heartbeat, the trembling of her hands, the emptiness in her stomach...
"Jeevika?" Viren said snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Maine aisa pehle kabhi feel nahi kiya hai." She said, whether to him or to herself he wasn't sure.
"Kya?"
She looked up at him to find him looking at her intently and expectantly. She blushed a beetroot red thinking about the direction her thoughts were taking and left little to his imagination. Viren was looking at her with an intensity in his eyes that made her shift uncomfortably under his weight. She took her hands off her chest and started playing with her engagement ring absentmindedly.
Viren shifted her weight from on top of her to lie back down next to her and pulled her left wrist in such a quick motion that she was facing him and he lay down. "Kaisa kabhi feel nahi kiya hai" he asked as he slid his hand up her wrist, upto her shoulder and then her cheek and slowly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Aisa?" he said as he saw her lower her eyes at his soft touch. He ran his thumb over her lower lip from left to right, slowly pulling the edge as he reached the right of the lip with his thumb and forefinger. "Aisa?" He ran his thumb down her chin through her neck to the hollow of her throat as he saw her chest heaving up and down as she tried to take in short sharp breaths. "Ya aisa?" he muttered as he put both his hands on either side of her waist tickling her so suddenly and so quickly that it make her squeal with laughter.
She was almost jumping on the bed trying to stop him as their laughter rang through the walls of their room in the dead silence of the night. In one fluid motion he was on top of her pinning her down with his weight and tickling her uncontrollably till she begged him to stop. When he finally did they were both panting, laughing and looking at each other with love and adoration at the same time.
"Mrs. Vadhera main aapko batadun ki aisa maine bhi kabhi feel nahi kiya hai." He bent down to kiss her forehead, then inched his face closer to her ear and said "I love You Mrs. Vadhera." Jeevika felt blood run upto her cheeks as she heard those words. She saw him looking at her expecting a reply. When she knew she was not going to get out of this situation without telling him how she felt for the first time she said those three magical words to him before slightly pushing him off her and turning away from him to hide her face. He laughed loudly behind her and put his hand around her waist to pull her to him such that her back was pressed against his chest. He took her hands, which she was using to cover her face and held them securely in his while saying "Good Night Jeevika!"
And they lay there all night Two bodies One Soul till the break of dawn.
