ArShi FF: Sex between Hearts #14 - Thread 15 Link on Pg 151 | Nov 29

I know I know I know, me too surprised to write a note on Dhak Dhaks...but I guess its much needed for those who seemed to think Sex Between Hearts as any other typical story.

Allow me stop you here before judging me on that...its just that little pride I take for the title I have chosen.

I know some of you had totally different expectations, and even confusions. But before I come to those, let me clarify the foundation of the story that seemed to be forgotten along the way... May be 36 chps are too long to remember, I don't blame you!

The day I chose the title of this story as Sex Between Hearts, I knew I was not going to make Khushi's heart skip a beat to the physical intimacy or proximity. It would eventually to physical attraction, but I was hell bent on not to make it as the first reason.

If that was the only way I had to show it, I would have showed it the day Arnav placed his palm on her pregnant belly...

So to further clarify, I am going to give a quick run down of her emotions Khushi had gone through in chapter 36, that led to her first step towards his love, rather than his friendship.

• She was burning in her own grief comparing two families, when she remembered Karan's words on she being abandoned by her parents - Her state was miserable.

• When Arnav said, she would never again look at the bed as her past scar - Her state was confused.

• When Arnav lifted her to carry her to the bed - Her state was terrorized.

• When Khushi realized he was the first one to carry her - Her state was unsettled...

  • Here it is important to note that, it was the first time happening in her life, as opposed to being hugged or kissed (in the past, in her marriage! - understood reality) Here unknown to her, somewhere deep down she compared Arnav to Karan, Karan being the only other man in her life.

• When Arnav explicitly said, No things are alike, be it bed or men, that was the hard punch to her clouded brain...Because it was the realization that, Never ever before Arnav tried to clear himself in comparison to Karan...And never before she felt the need to compare Arnav and Karan... And so when he did that, he kind of nudged her in that direction to think.

• And thats exactly what happened when He touched her feet and said Taking care of her is one among the things he insist on doing...The first thought that came to her mind was, how different is Arnav's care to her ex-husband's. That was the first blow to her heart. It was the moment her heart skipped a beat, with the realization...that led her to the first step towards his love, rather than his friendship.

So its not one fleeting glance, one intimate touch, or one soothing word, its a gradual progression that made her take that first step. I dont like to present any emotion suddenly. You may all have understood that by now...Now if she is consciously aware or not, is whole different issue, but as third person, you and I now know that her journey has began...

I would also like to add that I didn't want Khushi to start comparing Arnav to Karan without a progression, without a push.

Last but not the Dhak Dhak confusion😆, that is Arnav touching Khushi feet...I request everyone of those who thought how could it be his first time...to please read the line again and it ended with ...as Arnav...

And these are the only feet I ever touched...as Arnav!

He is a doctor, as Dr. R he would have probably touched many women's feet in the course of his profession, but never did he as an ardent lover!
