Ankita as shreya

She is good in some scenes and underwhelming in others. More than the acting, Her characterization was bad. Maybe if she was written differently than typical vamp then she could do better. Saakshi Goenka was a great villain because simone singh was a brilliant actresss and the character was very written, can't say the same for shreya.

Honestly she's a big wannabe. I really liked her till she was just KP's wife. Was excited when I heard she will play Kabir's ex wife because I always thought her looks were that of a classy vamp. But sadly her poor acting skills and more than that her attention seeking attitude on social media and in BTS interviews really put me off. Shreya could have been much better.

I always felt she is the only miscast in the show.. Casting was perfect for all the other characters, including peon Rahul. Somehow she didn't fit this role. Definite no when it comes to Kabir's ex wife. Rajeev, Kritika, Puru, Sunny Hinduja as Manav and infact all others were all natural actors. They played their roles effortlessly. Only she looked as if she was putting all her efforts to make the role "Shreya" effective, with the result it was always over acting. Many times I used to wonder if it was the Director's demand or if she couldn't portray the role effectively. She lacked the finesse for this role.

Agree She grabs attention whether in reporters or offscreen... I liked her in initial episodes she acted nicely but now she has becum repeatetive...

I agree with this post. I have seen Ankita in Sajada Tere Pyaar Main (which was a short lived show on Star Plus), and I liked her role in it. But as Shreya I have not really liked her acting as much. I think Shreya comes across as an ace "B***h" and nothing much more. She just comes across as a pyscho vamp. In the initial episodes she was more interesting. But now I just find Shreya totally OTT and quite intolerable. Just want to throw things at her face. She looks so smug.

Thank you very much for seconding my opinion since, right from so many days, I have been feeling so ... With due regards to Ankita Bhargav and her acting skills, somehow, I feel that Ankita was a bad choice for Shreya... since, Shreya required to look very dynamic, manipulative and extremely dangerous. Somehow, Ankita does not look none of the above... She has been extremely limited in her expressions...

I am not much into TV serial viewing.. Rajeev was the major reason who lured me into watching Reporters and then the storyline & performances kept me glued ! I don't know, how big a personality Karan Patel is, that his name had to be dragged in the 100 epi celebration of Reporters just bcoz one of the actresses happens to be his wife.. Anyways.. Keeping off screen stuff apart, I feel, Shreya as a character has been a huge letdown ! She was just not the way, we had expected a classy vamp to be. Till the time there was a certain degree of unpredictability attached to the character, it remained intriguing but after the Past revelation sequence, it went downhill ! She simply came across a psycho vamp who was trying to act smart ! And to be true the Psycho portrayal of Shreya which we are getting now, is the most convincing one, bcoz she has always appeared to be like that.. Somehow, the "shades" of Shreya which were much talked about didnt come up well and she came across a cold, ruthless, selfish and arrogant lady who doesnt have an ounce of principles or self respect !

Rajeev❤️ was the main reason that drew me to Reporters in the first place and am glad I did since apart from Rajeev having got better and better and looking hottt and brilliant as always...the chemistry he shared with Kritika and her wonderful acting and others of the cast as well and the crisp storyline and execution just glued me to it...

Thank God many agree with me ... Many mentioned tat its due to her character shreya but I think any character s hit or miss due to the actors major part ... Even a flawed character and illogical script can make u glued to show if actors act and convince u so ... But ankita here as shreya was huge flop... Actually shreya s a very strong , potential character if only was played by someone with gud acting skills and experience ... With due respect ankita acting made it like saas bahu and nt classy...
