Chapter 7 : Ajabde banegi humari bahu
Over the next few days both Ajabde and Kunwar Pratap were trying to get over their feelings.
Many a times Kunwar Pratap felt like calling Ajabde n then would drop the plan thinking of what Ajabde might think of him.
While Ajabde felt that how can a common girl talk to a prince.
Kunwar Pratap always saw his Ranima's reflection in Ajabde. She was like his Ranima in every single way he could imagine. She was brave, intelligent, caring, dignified.
That night Kunwar Pratap and Shakti were with their Ranima. Ranima was eager to know the kind of girl Kunwar Pratap wanted in his life.
Jaiwanta Baiji : boliye Kunwar Pratap kaisi bindini chahte hai ap.

In their room ranaji asked Jaiwanta Bai about Kunwar Prataps alliance.
Jaiwanta Baiji : hum ne Chakrapani ke sasur ji ko Pratap aur baki rajkumariyon ki kundali bheji hai. Dekhte hai ki kiski kundali milti hai. Hum phone karenge pandit ji ko.
There at Saubhagyawatis place Chakrapani had taken Kunwar Pratap and Ajabde's kundali and started to match them.
Chakrapani : Saubhagyawati adhbhoot hai in dono ki kundali.
Saubhagyawati : kyun aisa kya hua?
Chakrapani : chatis ke chatis gun Mil rahe hai. Mano eklingji ne dono ko ek dusre ke liye bheja ho. Bilkul shiv parwati jaise
Saubhagyawati smiled and prayed for Kunwar Pratap and Ajabde's relation.
The next day Jaiwanta Baiji called pandit ji
Jaiwanta Baiji : Khamma Ghani pandit ji kisi kundali se Mel hua.
Pandit ji : shama kijiye ranisa. Nahi ho paya
While talking over the phone his sight went on Ajabde's kundali he just started matching her kundali with Prataps. Chakrapani was observing this. He had himself kept it there so that his father in law would see it.
Pandit ji : adhbhoot hai Yeh toh.
Jaiwanta Baiji: Kya hua pandit ji?
Pandit ji : Rani sa ek kundali se Mel hua hai aur woh bhi kaisa Mano shiv parvati ki kundali ho. Chatis ke chatis gun Mel kha rahe hai. Is ladki se mangalya Bal milega. Kunwar Pratap sadayva surakshit rahenge.
Jaiwanta Baiji : kaunsi Rajkumari hai ye?
Pandit ji : ranisa Yeh koi Rajkumari nahi hai Yeh bijolia ke postmaster ki putri hai Ajabde.
Ranisa : Acha. Hum apko fir call karenge.
She was tensed she began to think if it was necessary to marry a royal blood. The only one who could provide solace to her was rajmata. She walked into her room and told her everything.
Rajmata : toh kya hua agar woh koi Rajkumari nahi hai hum toh bindini khoj rahe hai Pratap ke liye. Ranaji se hum baat karenge.
There Dheer Baiji was planning on making her neice Phool Kawar the kunwarani of Udaipur. She had called and asked her to visit.
Rajmata and jaiwanta Baiji came to ranaji and spoke to him.
They explained the situation. He was more than happy to see this girl. He said bindini gunwan honi chahiye.
Ab Kunwarani Dheerbai ji ko dekhlo Rajkumari hai par rehene do ab hum kal hi jayenge une dekhne.

They agreed.
Next morning rajmata Jaiwanta Baiji and Ranaji left for Bijolia they went to pandit jis place. Pandit ji had sent Chakrapani and Saubhagyawati to hat mela as all this was supposed to be kept a secret. Pandit ji told them everything about Ajabde.
He had called her there under the pretext if taking some of his relatives to the krishna temple.he said they would leave for their home from the temple itself.
Ajabde came there at the time she was called she greeted them and touched their feet. All the three of them were happy to see a simple and well mannered girl.
Pandit ji introduced them to her as
Rajmata was his kakisa ranaji as his cousins and Ranisa as his sister in law.
They walked along to the temple.
Ranaji : Ap bura Na mane toh Yeh bata sakti hai ki ap kahan tak padhi likhi hain?

All were impressed.
Ranaji asked her about the letter she had written to Ranaji.
Rajmata and Maharani sa looked tensed.
Ajabde replied calmly " uss samay wahi uchit laga. Humara bijolia sankat main tha. Hum jante hai ki uss patra main hum thode bhavuk ho gaye the. Yadi hume mauka mila toh hum ranaji se shama mangenge.

Ajabde was taken aback by the question, but she answered " dev purush jaise. Itne vinamrah hai we hum sab ne Saath main milke Surtan ko saza dilwayi. Ek bhi din unhone Yeh nahi jataya ki ve Kunwar sa hai.
So she had already met him they thought. They reached the temple.
The pandit ji asked her to sing the bhajan for them. She complied. The three of them were thoroughly impressed by her.
After the arti they told Ajabde that they would leave.
Ajabde: hum apko bus stop tak chod ate hai.
Ranaji : nahi hum swayam jayenge apko kasht karne ki avashyakta nahi hai.
Ajabde: kasht kaisa aap toh humare atithi hai. Aur athiti bhagwan saman. Bhagwan ke liye kuch karne main kaisa kasht.
Ranaji smiled and said hum mante hai apki baat par hume kuch aur bhi kaam hai is liye.
Ajabde gave in touched their feet and left.
The three of them said together. Ajabde hi banegi humari bahu.
They returned to the palace and were surprised to see phool there.
Dheerbai ji : woh ranaji hum Kunwar Pratap ke liye Phool Ka rishta leke aye hai.
Ranaji : par Yeh nahi ho sakta. Humne Kunwar Pratap ke liye bindini chun li hai.
Dheebaiji : Kya? Yeh kaise Kar sakte hai ap?
Jaiwanta Baiji : ve humare putra hai toh nirnay bhi humara hoga.
Phool : kahan ki Rajkumari hai wo?
Rajmata : Rajkumari nahi hai parantu sanskararon aur vicharaon main woh bilkul Jaiwanta ki parchai hai.
Phool : aisi ladki.. humse mukabla karegi... itni insult hui hai humari..
She stormed out on the way she looked at Kunwar Pratap who had just arrived there and said shadi mubarak ho.
Pratap was shocked. His parents told him that they were taking shagun to the girls house.
Ranaji : Ap kuch puchenge nahi uss ladki ke bare main?
Kunwar Pratap : nahi.hum kal tayar ho jayenge.
Jaiwanta Baiji started preparing for the shagun.
Kunwar Shakti tried to instigate Kunwar Pratap to tell their parents about his feelings for Ajabde. But he refused.
There in Bijolia pandit ji informed Rao mamrakji that a family was coming to ask for Ajabde's hand in marriage and that they will be arriving tomorrow.
The entire family was happy. But Ajabde was feeling sad.but she kept a smile on her face for all of them
Both Ajabde and Kunwar Pratap were lying on their beds and thinking that tomorrow onwards their life would change.
