Shivam's reaction over Riya's yes

I know right? He is so definitely a Shivani- that idiot is really annoying me, not a masculine bone in him at this point. He almost warmed my heart when he went to take her the tea and biscuits- but then mummy comes and tells him not to and hes quick to fall in line. Gods man- where is your testosterone or did you miss THAT growth spurt? For heaven's sake- youre allowed to tell your mum that you just wanted to do something nice for your wife. The problem is- he is more interested in one relationship than the other. He said he would be fair to both his mum and wife and its just not the case. Whenever mummy says something about Riya to him privately he nods like a donkey, but when Riya says something to him about his mum privately (and that too under misguided info) he shouts at her.

Is this a man or a child living under mummy's skirts? He wont consummate, he wont listen to her, he wont refuse to abuse her hard earned money by allowing shanti to take it (knowing full well what she will do with it). He just doesn't seem to give a crap about her- how are we supposed to not gag every time we see a ""loving"" moment between these two? Its so fake and hypocritical. He doesn't seem to love her- hes just infatuated and excited at the newness of it, not much more than that it seems. When she really needs his support he starts whining TO HER to give him support! What? What man does this? LOL! Very true Leelalore- it was downright creepy seeing the relief and happiness on his face when she said yes to him.

It does look like she will have to figure it out on her own- failing that she will walk in on a conversation by accident demonstrating shantis wickedness and find out that way. Its just sad if it happens that way- that she has to find out by herself as her spouse basically lies to her by withholding the truth and her SIL seems to keep on purposefully misunderstanding her just because she thinks Riya is out to get her mummy dearest. But Nimmi wont tell her the truth either- yada yada yada- same stupid thing being repeated! Driving me nuts.

Nope, me neither. All characters are just so disappointing to watch now. All have become subservient, scared, brainwashed and praising to goddess Shanti- even though they know what she is. All of them except Raghav and Riya. Conscientious stupidity people- conscientious stupidity. Its like a big blaring angry pink elephant in the room and pretending that the elephant is just the coffee table and not something about to impale you to death.

Please tell me- why do I keep watching this?? Its like a horrid accident, you know you should and want to look away but you cant.
