Nothing significant happened today, but it was a captivating episode. Really really glad that we are getting the much needed introspection and also the adorable awkwardness between the couple.
I would like to split the episode into two parts, one about the happenings on the revenge / closure of SK case and another at the KaYa personal relationship side.
On the case side, Shreya seems to be moving in the expected direction, I made few speculations about she triggering Ananya to lose her temper and behave rashly sothat she can make Ananya look like a mentally insane person. From what she said to Manav and RG, it indeed looks like that's what she is planning. She is going to make Ananya behave irrationally at office (the gun incident) and get her suspended from KKN. Kabir will be put on a spot, he can't really take too much panga at this moment with KKN management, he needs to be there to expose RG and Shreya. As he said in the last scene, patience is an important factor now, everyone is on short fuse, it has become Kabir's responsibility to keep the cool and stay level headed.
When Richa said, she has full trust on Kabir, I somewhere felt the trust is going to be shaken up pretty soon. If Ananya gets suspended, Richa (and Sunny too) might feel Kabir is not doing enough.
I agree with Kabir, the priority is not Shreya, it is RG's exposure. And in Shreya's case, they have done what they could, collecting proofs and giving it to KL, now the ball is in KL's and other board of directors' court. Kabir can't do anything more, other than proving Shreya's involvement in Ronnie's murder, which is same as exposing RG.
I liked the scene at Kahsyap house with KaYa and their stingers. Nice to see Lakshman and Tinnu together and they insisting on the case being a personal battle for them too.
Btw, didn't Tinnu say he was being watched and didn't want to meet KaYa? Already he is out of RG's radar? And the pic of the henchman, didn't Khurana sent it to Kabir before Ronnie was murdered? I remember Ananya telling Kabir that she shared the pic with Tinnu too, why repetition now? Or Do the makers expect the viewers to have short term memory loss (just like they do ;))?
Inspite of the bloopers, it was a good scene..
I always felt Richa had a secret liking for Ronnie, it was so secret that even she didn't know that ;). When she pushed Ananya to accept Ronnie, she looked so obsessive about it that her primary concern in life seemed to be Ronnie's happiness. But what a time to name that attachment... Poor girl..
Btw, I don't know how many of you felt it... But seeing Richa falling into the arms of Ronnie look alike in the SBS segment, made me feel, the show is not ending with the SK case. Perhaps the exposure of RG and Shreya would happen on next Friday. On 19th, they may show a small leap (of few weeks perhaps) and show the normal life at KKN after the exposure, and this scene with Richa and Ronnie look alike might be shown then, possibly this guy could be a new recruitment at KKN, as Kabir is shown next to them too.
Ok, I deviated too much from the episode, now back to the episode.
Kabir - Armaan are a great pairing (I seem be telling this about every one with Kabir ;)). The duo as always rocked, and nice to see the down to earth Kabir, he was very relatable in that scene.
Now the Anita pendulum had swung to Kabir's side ;), not surprising though ;).
Now to the title of my post,. When it comes to Kabir, his heart and head are at same place, they both want the same thing, there is no dilemma or confusion there. Ananya is his life, his happiness, his everything.. But Ananya, her heart accepted him, we had seen the proof already, when her head was dormant, she leaned on to him with her heart, she holding his hand , letting his feed her, kiss her on forehead, depending on him for support, there were ample proofs. Now her head is no more dormant, it is active, and it is confusing her, which is pretty natural. If the couple had gone ahead as if nothing had happened in the middle, that would have been unrealistic. Her head thinks this is not the man she had fallen in love with, because he is not the hero she idealised for 8 years, and the head questions her how can she still love him. The next step in this progression would be head realising what the heart already realised, that she loves the flawed man, who is not so heroic, who is not so fearless. And this progression would occur only when further introspection happens. Hope the progress is properly shown and the complete acceptance happens before SK case gets resolved. Fingers crossed!!
But the scene at the famed window was a beauty, Kabir's awkward attempts to make a normal convo, Ananya not able to go with the flow, and the 'Do you trust me, do you love me' questions, it was just so typical of the couple. Kabir, the one who is always more sure in the relationship, and Ananya, the one who always in need of catching up, ;). But catching up, she will certainly do and when she does catch up, that will be poetic too!!

Missed few observations..
Manav bhai's expressions in the first scene was noteworthy, he was speechless. And Shreya does indeed suit this insane avatar more. She was never this convincing in her fake sugary act or in her Ms. I-am-always-professional act.
