I couldnt take today's epi. Not sure how I am gonna take tomorrow's epi. How little Dr Shukla understood his daughter and how well Chander knew her.
The way Chander was explaining what kind of a man Sudha should marry, I was telling Dr Shukla in my mind. Mr Shukla cant you open your eyes and see the gentleman is right in front of you. Cant you see the happiness in your daughter's eyes when she is around him.Cant you understand he will walk her like a queen in his life. But no. The moment Dr Shukla tells he has to be a Brahmin the way Chander looks. Rahil completely sealed it. The masking of pain was too good and the way he stands looking at Sudha and Kailash's photo. I could understand his dilemma. The deep dilemma. Sudha's words were prophetic. Sometimes the society is unfair to the girls. Not sure how I am gonna take rest of the epi. The first one itself is brilliantly enacted to touch your heart strings.

Today's episode was heart-wrenching in every way. More than the first half the second half tore my heart right out.
Dr. Shukla really portrays those shallow people really well who believe caste is everything. Even today there are people like him everywhere. He may appear to be open to everything, but he isn't. And the way he said he has to be a Brahmin was enough to prove that more than a thousand words could. Somewhere I do feel that he sees that Sudha and Chander are perfect for each other, but this thought that the boy has to be Brahmin clouds his judgment. Additionally for him Chander is someone who is indebted to him so he can do what he wants and Chander will not object. I would also say that's he's very cunning in a way. He knew that Sudha would never agree to the marriage if he went to talk to her, but that Sudha never refuses Chander and that's why he sent Chander. If he really understands that the 2 love each other then what better way to separate them then by making the person indebted to you tell the person he loves to marry someone else. But really more than the first half, the second half tore my heart apart like I said above. The way Chander and Sudha said that they love each other without actually saying those words. The conversation. The tears. The pain. When Chander slaps Sudha, the way both burst out crying and then Sudha cares for him instead of being angry. Every little bit pierced into the heart. This show is really, really, really well done. The actors are more than excellent. They are just perfect. The way Rahil and Umang handled the scene made you want to reach out because you could actually feel the pain. The director has done a fantastic job with the way the scene was portrayed and the different camera angles for the different parts. The dialogue writer has written some absolutely fantastic dialogues.I know this show is only for 20 episodes, but truth be told this is one show that I would love even more if it continued more than that.
@ Shruti: very well expressed the reality of Dr Shukla. Being an educated person...still he gives priority to birth than Karm...throughout the episode I felt bad for Chander and Sudha...and both the actors were more than too good...I think the novel is sarcasm on the cast system...if in future Chander goes on wrong route and Sudha is not happy in her marriage...it is the evil cast system that made in their lives through Dr Gupta.
