We talked and talked about Taiwanese, Japanese and Korean dramas/movies.. but I just had a thought: what about Chinese Dramaz😕 What do they specialize in? [I mean...what are they good at? Characterizations or story.etc etc] I am sure they have a good drama industry.... any recommendations😃

Let us just discuss about China entertainment industry😛

let me put it this way...i watch azn shows because they are 1) short
2) simple and love oriented
3)they have a lot of talentd eye candy.

unfortunately when it comes to chinese shows ...they are usually long (54 episode is the shortest i have seen yet), actors are not very goodlooking usually and the stories are as big a mess as ekta shows so i have to motivation to see them or even check them out. incidntally most of the are historic in nature which is another downer.

yeah i agree...the most themes ive seen seem to originate from the traditional chinese stuff...so dramas mostly consist of that....not thats its bad but they're long and dramatic and from whut ive read..boring lol.....but ive had people recommend "the legend of condor heroes"...so if u want check that one out?? i think ariel's in it actually o.0

Hmm... there are the Cantonese dramas... the Hong Kong based ones.. but I haven't heard much good about them. 😕

I used to watch Chinese dramas since i live in HK. I used to find it interesting and i'm quite familiar with the faces of Hong Kong Entertainment ppl. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the dramas I watched! Right now, I don't think theres any good chinese dramas. 'In the past, there was this story of childhood friends (girl (she was blind) & boy). But the boy went away to another city/country. When he came back he wanted to cure her eyes but she didn't know he was her childhood friend'...blah blah...I'm tired of writing. Anyways, their dramas are long unlike J/K/Tw Dramas. I prefer chinese movies though. They're funny! forget about chinese dramas and go for chinese movies!

Well, I'm not sure if u have heard of this one or not but it's pretty famous movie : KUNG FU HUSTLE. It has a lot of action and stuff but its funny. Try it out! There are some more but I can't remember their name. 😕
