Does Yuvraj has ANY redeeming quality?

Personally, I prefer Kunj, but at the same time I can see where Yuvi is coming from. All his life he has been trying to please his mother, be her support ( even though she doesn't seem to appreciate it). All he is doing is for his mom. I don't really blame him because we all want to please our parents especially our mothers( they are mostly the hardest to please, especially if you are a girl😆). That being said, it is not the guy's fault that God gave him a mother like Anita, I mean, not everyone is as lucky as Twinkle, even Kunj( lets not talk about HIS mom, the epitome of selfishness). So, I think that is Yuvraj's ONLY redeeming quality, his love for his mother. But the guy has definitely surpassed his mentor in wickedness, I mean, Twinkle was dying and he was worried about REVENGE?! even Anita has a threshold, Yuvi's revenge has no threshold.

I will say no. His "love" for his mom appears more like a desperate attempt to prove that he is not a failure. That he is worth being appreciated and he is capable of achieving his purpose in life - revenge.

His love stems from insecurity and loneliness. These two factors are created by his mom. Having Twinkle in his life removes the insecurity (because he is succeeding in tricking and ruining her life; hence he is glorified by his mom). But it also removes the loneliness because even though it is fake from his side, the love and warmth from Twinkle's side is real. That type of deep love fills the need for companionship and although, he doesn't see it yet, makes him feel complete. Twinkle fulfills the purpose in Yuvi's life, allows him to have the love and adoration that he is seeking from his mom and most importantly, does not make him feel like a failure.

welcome to the forum and i agree with gurleen too. Very precisely u have presented his character,he fulfills his desire to be loved by his mum by ruining twinkle. a screwed up way to go about it i would say but he does it.
