I guess it was the cinematography, the bike chases, the special effects, also the songs, Aamir's double role and Abhishek's wry humor.

I'm suprised that it received negative reviews when its far better than that overatted Dhoom 2. At least it had a convincing story regarding the whole circus situation. Aamir Khan was superb in his double role especailly where he plays a mentaly retarded person and acts naive which is something SRK & Salman couldn't do. The action scenes and stunts were amazing and directed very well. Uday Chopra isn't a good actor but he provides some good comedy in this film.

I think Dhoom 1 was the only good Dhoom movie...rest both were trash...dunno how they became such massive hits

Dhoom 1 was aamzing though...John and Abhi and even Rimi Sen looked hot❤️

liked d2, and found d3 hugely hyped.

dhoom series are larger than life, action roles. aamir unfortunately dont fit into those. at least for me.

his chemistry with kat - non existent

and overall, dhoom series have good songs. HR increased the bar for dance in d2. but nothing nice to repeat in d3 at all.

Dhoom 1 is best in the series and after that Dhoom 2 comes. Didn't liked Dhoom 3. Direction and story both were bad.
