Part 14

Zoya opems her eyes. She luks at d time n is shocked to see its 11am.

"Oh no, its 11am. Wat will everyone think?" says Zoya in panic.

She quickly washes her face n went to d hall where all were there.

"I am so sorry to wake up at 11am. Main to apne ghar me bhi rarely 11 baje uthti thi par main to aaj sasural me hi 11 baje uth gayi. Sorry for getn up so late," apologized Zoya.

"Zoya, ye bhi tumhaara hi ghar hai. Ek din 11 baje uth gayi to kya hua," said Dilshad wid a smile, "U needed rest especially after wat happened to u in d morning."

Colour drains out of Zoya's face.

"Ammi, I was so scared. Dunno wat happened to me," said Zoya.

"Zoya, u went thru a very bad phase. So, u will take time to bcum normal," said Dilshad.

"Latif, bring breakfast for Zoya," said Rashid.

"Okay Sir," said Latif.

"Zoya, after u done eating we r going out," said Asad.

"Where?" asked Zoya.

"I told him to take u shopping," replied Dilshad wid a smile, "In dat way, u both will spend some time 2gthr alone."

Zoya smiled. All were happy to see her smile.

After Zoya had her breakfast, AsYa went to their room. Asad tuk out a white knee-length floral dress 4m d cupboard n kept it on d bed.

"Wear dis," said Asad wid a smile n asked, "Wat sud I wear?

Zoya smiled n tuk a sky blue t-shirt n being cargo pants for him.

"Dis one," said Zoya wid a smile.

Both got ready n left in Asad's car. Asad's car which Zoya drove last time yesterday to escape 4m Anas was sent to mechanic n it was delivered back in d morning.

Asad 1^st tuk Zoya to a mall. They went inside hand in hand wid a smile on their faces. They went to Shoppers Stop n bought some clothes for themselves. They tuk a lot of time in Shoppers Stop lukn n selecting various clothes for themselves.

"R u hungry?" asked Asad.

"2 ghanta pehle hi to breakfast ki thi," replied Zoya, "But u sud eat sumthn."

"But u will give me company," said Asad wid a smile.

"Okay, I will eat a little," said Zoya wid a smile.

They went to Dominos n ordered Chicken Dominator Pizza, Butterscotch Mousse Cake n coke for themselves.

Zoya recalled a bad incident wid Anas related to pizza.

On d 3^rd day of marriage, Zoya orders pizza n coke in d afternoon as she felt like eating it. Anas used to give Zoya not so much money but enough to run house for some of her personal needs n clothing. Wen Anas returns in d evening, he gets angry on knowing dat Aya had ordered pizza n coke for herself. He slapped her hard across her face.

"How dare u ordered pizza n coke widout my permission?" barked Anas.

"I felt like having them & I never had to take ur or someone else's permission," replied Zoya n asked," Why r u reacting so much?"

Anas stared at her angrily. He held her hand tightly before he spun her around making her back face him n twisted her arm tightly behind her back making her cry in pain.

"Asad, u r hurting me. Leave my hand," said Zoya in pain.

"I don't give u money to waste it weneva u want for unnecessary things," said Anas angrily.

He twisted her hand more tighter n said angrily, "U will get punishment for dis. U will be locked in ur room till d morning wid no dinner but just water in ur room."

"Asad no, plz don't do dis," said Zoya shockingly.

"I will have to do dis," said Anas sharply.

He walked to her room along wid her still holding her hand in dat position. Wen they reached d door of her room, he pushed her inside making her fall on d floor n locked d door 4m outside. Zoya was shocked at his behaviour. She got up n started banging d door.

"Asad, plz open d door," pleaded Zoya, "Plz, don't make me stay hungry.

Anas who was still outside d door was irritated by her banging n pleading.

"U better stop banging n shut ur mouth otherwise I will throw u in d dark widout even water n bring out 2mrw night only during dinner," threatened Anas.

Zoya got scared. She stops banging n pleading. She heard him walking away. She went to her bed n starts crying.

"Oh God, wat has happened to Asad?" asked Zoya while crying.

"Why he has bcum so cruel?" asked Zoya while crying.

Zoya comes to d present still lost in thoughts.

"Wat were u thing?" asked Asad.

"I was thinking abt dat pizza incident wid Anas," replied Zoya.

Asad is shocked as he also knows abt dat since Anas used to tell everything to him abt wat he wud do to Zoya to torture him. He kept his hands over her hands caressing them.

"Zoya, don't think abt dat n enjoy ur lunch," said Asad wid a smile.

Zoya smiled back at him.

"Wen will my Zoya be rid of all those memories?" thinks Asad worriedly.

Their order came n they started eating.

"Zoya, where do want to go for Honeymoon?" asked Asad wid a smile.

"I have not decided it yet," replied Zoya wid a smile.

"We will watch a movie after we have lunch n then we will go to beach," said Asad.

Zoya smiled n said, "I love u so much."

"I too love u so much," said Asad wid a smile.

After lunch, as Asad had said they watched a movie n after dat they left d hall. Asad drove to Juhu beach. AsYa got down n went to d beach hand in hand while smiling. They walked around d beach while talking to each other. Zoya was very happy dat Asad tuk her out to d mall n now beach. She smiles freely n happily making Asad very happy.

"I missed so much going out to enjoy. Anas always locked me in d house," said Zoya.

"Now, he will not be able to lock u anymore," said Asad.

"Weneva I wud tell him to let me go out for a while, he wud scold, slap n manhandle me," said Zoya sadly.

Asad felt angry hearing dat. He lukd at Zoya softly n smiled.

"He is no more around," said Asad wid a smile, "Lets go in d water."

"Yaa, lets go. I missed all dis so much," said Zoya wid a smile.

They went in d water hand in hand. AsYa were loving d cool sand n water beneath their feet. Zoya suddenly splashed water on Asad n ran 4m him after removing her hand 4m his hand. He ran after her n caught her after sometime by her waist.

"Asad, leave me," said Zoya.

"How can I leave after u splashed water on me?" asked Asad teasingly.

He puts his hand in d water.

"Asad no," said Zoya knowing wat he is abt to do.

Asad simply chuckled n splashed water on her.

He left his hold 4m her waist. They then began splashing water at each other while smiling n laughing freely n happily. After some time, they stood in d water n watched d beautiful sunset 2gthr wid a smile on their faces. They then went out of d water n went to a stall.

"Wat wud u like to eat?" asked Asad.

"Bhelpuri," replied Zoya.

"Bhaiyya, 2 bhelpuri dena," said Asad.

After having bhelpuri, they went to an ice-cream stall.

"Bhaiyya, 2 black-currant flavour dena," said Asad.

AsYa walked on d beach while eating their ice-cream.

"Thank u so much Asad for takn me out," said Zoya wid a smile.

"No need to thank me Zoya as I am ur husband," said Asad wid a smile.

"I am spending time wid u after so many days," said Zoya happily.

"We will always do so," said Asad wid a smile.

After finishing their ice-cream, they decided to go home.

AsYa entered d house n saw Rashid's cousin sisters Haseena n Chand came to visit them. They were still at d door. No one had seen them.

"Don't mind, Zainab. I & Chand r surprised dat u, Abhijeet n Abhimanyu being 4m girl's family decided to live here for few days. In our culture, beti k sasural me paani bhi nahi peeya jaata hai par aap sab to yaha aaraam se kha-pee rahe ho," said Haseena wid a smile.

Zoya as well as her family felt hurt hearing dat. Suddenly, everyone's eyes went to AsYa standing at d door. They saw Zoya lukn hurt due to Haseena's comment.

Haseena n Chand were shocked at wat he said. AsYa came inside n sat on d couch. Haseena n Chand who were already shocked to see Humeira being a daughter-in-law wearing a red top n blue jeans were more shocked to see Zoya in d knee-length dress. They were not even happy wid Najma who is unmarried wearing a black full-length jumpsuit.

"How was both of urs day?" asked Dilshad wid a smile.

"Awesome, we enjoyed a lot," replied Zoya wid a smile.

"I am so happy dat I was able to make Zoya happy," said Asad wid a smile.

"Asad beta, we heard abt you n Zoya n felt very bad. But don't u all think dat sumthn must have happened between Zoya n Anas as they remained in d same house for more than 2 weeks? I am sure Zoya must have gotten intimate wid him thinking as Anas. As we know how Anas is he cud not have controlled himself for so long. Haseena n Chand got scared wid his anger. Everyone smiled wid d way Asad was supporting Zoya n even Najma n Humeira.

"Wow Rashid n Dilshad," said Haseena wid a sarcastic smile, "Ur son has no manners to talk wid his elders. (pointing to Zoya)For dat girl, he is not talking wid us recfectfully."

"Dat girl is my wife n her name is Zoya," said Asad firmly, "Its better u don't talk abt manners. Talking abt me not having manners to talk wid elders, its u both of u who needs to learn manners. If elders don't know manners then youngers has to teach them."

Haseena n Chand were shocked.

"Its better if u both behave properly wid everyone," said Ayaan firmly, "We don't entertain people who only talk nonsense n keeps on spewing venom."

"U both have came here n asked abt Asad n Zoya's well-being. I think ur work is done now so u both sud leave as we don't want any more tension here," said Rashid calmly.

"Wat? U r teln us to leave?" asked Chand shockingly.

"Yes," replied Rashid firmly.

"Before leaving, u both sud apologize to Zoya, Najma n Humeira," said Dilshad.

"We will not apologize," said Haseena.

"U have to apologize," said Ayaan staring at them angrily.

Haseena n Chand got scared.

"We r sorry for our behaviour, Zoya beta, Humeira beta n Najma beta," said Haseena n Chand wid a fake smile, "Plz, forgive us for wat all we said to 3 of u."

"Its okay, Haseena Bi n Chand Bi," said Najma, Zoya n Humeira 2gthr wid a fake smile.

"Okay, now u both can go," said Ayaan wid attitude.

Haseena n Chand left d house not daring to mess wid anyone further.

"Zoya beta, we r sorry for wat they said," apologized Rashid.

"U sud not apologize, abbu. It was not ur fault," said Zoya.

"I managed to keep Zoya happy all day but these 2 women spoiled dat," said Asad angrily.

"We r sorry dat they insulted u also," apologized Dilshad to Zoya's family.

"Aunty, plz don't apologize. Its not ur fault. I have seen a lot of such people who only talks nonsense. But u all r not like them. I know u all 4m 6 years," said Abhi wid a smile.

Dilshad smiled back at him.

"Asad, Zoya, u both sud go inside n rest," said Zainab.

As AsYa entered their room, Zoya fell into Asad's arms n started crying.

"They were teln me so many things n teln u to divorce," said Zoya while crying.

Asad hugged her back n caressed her head n back to comfort her.

"Baby, stop crying. U sud not think abt all they said," said Asad in a soothing voice.

They broke d hug. Asad wiped her tears n kissed her forehead. Zoya smiled seeing his care for her. Asad smiled back as he was happy to see her smiling again.
