Chapter 8 A

Nandini's POV..

After bidding goodbye to Manik Sir..! Ops I mean Manik..! I came inside the orphanage I was very sad..! I wanted to be with him all the time..! I didn't wanted to stay away from him not even for a second..! His arms were so much protective..! His arms had mother's warmth..! His arms had father's protection..! And most of all a lover's eternal love..! I can spend my whole life being in his arms..! I blushed on my own thought and walked towards Maa's Cabin and what I saw next was left me all excited.

"Dhruv...!"I shouted excitedly and flanged in his arms. Dhruv is my only and best childhood friend. We both were in same class but after 12th standard Dhruv left for abroad as he got some scholarships and I was alone with Maa..! We both were of almost equally same ages..! He was a sleepy lazy head not much expressive unlike me but still we shared a very good best friend bond. I was so happy to see him after 6 long long years..! He used to call me and Maa on the orphanage phone may be once in 15 days. I was so excited to see him that I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back.

"Aiyapaa..! Dhruv tum kab aye?"I exclaimed breaking the hug.

"Bus abhi aya..!"He said smilingly.

"Haan..! Chalo..! We have lots to catch up..!"I said excitedly as I wanted to share my Manik's happiness with him and dragged him to my room.

"So you have grown so much prettier..!"Dhruv complimented me I blushed.

"And you have grown handsome..!"I returned the favor and he too smiled.

"I am here actually to tell you something..!"Dhruv said hesitantly.

"Kya baat kar rahy ho..! Even I wanna tell you something..!"I exclaimed but I didn't knew that Dhruv was going to explode a bomb on me..!

"Really..! Then you first..!"Dhruv said smilingly and I shook my head.

"No no..! Pehly tum..!"I said stubbornly and he smiled. He got up and held my hand felt a little uneasy but I too got up.

"I don't know how to say it..! Can I hug you?"He said hesitantly and I smiled.

"Bus itne si baat?"I said smilingly and hugged him. I always consider him as my brother and a very good friend so hugging him was not a big deal for me.. But what he said next was something I never dreamt off..I felt like earth slipping away under my feet..

"Nandini..! I love you so much..! I can't live without you..!"He said in my ear and I was shocked on my place. I was unable to utter a single word.. He loves me? But how? I tou never ever think about him like this? How did he get me so wrong? I instantly backed off from the hug and he look at me smilingly."So you accept my proposal?"He asked holding my hand and I jerked his hand away.

"

I am sorry Dhruv..! I don't know when you started getting my friendship so wrong..! I don't love you Dhruv..!"I said politely and Dhruv's expressions became sad.

"Nandini..! Tmhy jitna time chye sochny kay liye tum lay lo..! I won't mind..!"Dhruv said pleadingly and I shook my head.

"Dhruv I will say no to you after sometime too..!"I said softly.

"Why? Don't you like me?"He said sadly.

"I do..! But not as a boyfriend..!"I said in a serious tone.

"You love someone else?"He asked sadly.

"Yes..!"I whispered and Dhruv wiped the lone tears which had escaped from his eyes. "Look Dhruv I am so sorry..!"I said in an apologetic tone.

"It's ok Nandini..! I wish tmhy tmhra pyaar mil jye..! I should go now..! Bye..!"Dhruv said forcing a smile and in spite of my forcing he didn't stopped and left the orphanage for FOREVER..! I was sad for him agar Manik mery life main na aye hoty tou maybe main Dhruv ko haan bool daite but no..! I LOVE MANIK..! But where was he..? It was 8 pm of night he told me that he will came to me by himself after his meeting..! But..! I think I should go myself yeah..! So after informing Maa I hired an auto and headed towards Malhotra Mansion...! I didn't knew that a storm was waiting for me there..!

Manik's POV

Kaise saans chalegi, kaise raat kategi
Kaise jee main sakunga tere bin
Sajna teri judaai menu raas na aai
Laggdi duniya paraai tere bin

I run from there as fast as I can..! I had always thought that I was the most strong person of all..! But in age of 30 tears were wetting my cheeks..! I didn't cared to rub them off..! I was hurt..! Badly hurt..! Nandini was in someone other's arms...! She was hugging someone else..! That girl who became my oxygen in few days..! The girl who made my life heaven in few days had thrown me into hell..! Oh God..! It's paining..! IT's PAINING DAMN IT..! It's hurting...! It's burning inside me..! But qasoor Nandini ka nahi..! Qasoor mera hai..! I shouldn't have trusted her..! Actually I don't deserve someone..! Being alone has written in my fate..! I can't change it..! I don't know Nandini why you did this..! But I can't be the same again..! You have broke my trust I will not forgive you..! Aray tmhy forgive kya karon ga main tou khud ko he maaf nahi kar skta for this MISTAKE..!

Kismat ne meri aisa kyun kiya
Jo kabhi na bhare wo jhakham kyun diya

Hai naseeb mera ya hai koi sazaa
Deke saari khushi phir ye gham kyu diya
I drove back home and sitting on my bar counter I gulped as much wine as I could but damn still..! It was hurting..! It was hurting more than anything..!

"Aaahhh...!"I shouted angrily and threw all the glasses on the floor..! But still..! I was not feeling good at all..! I want to die..! Oh God..! This Love hurts so much..! Stupid emotions..! GOD..! Itna bura tou nahi tha main..! Phr main he q..! Why you showed me hope? Why..!????? I was about to threw the bottle in my hand on the floor when suddenly..!

"Manik..!"I heard Nandini's shout and she came running towards me being careful not to hurt herself with the broken glass pieces. Seeing her again my breath became uneven..! I look at her with teary eyes and she seemed to be horrified.

"Ya kya kar rahy hain ap?"She shouted worriedly and tried to snatch the bottle from my hand.

"Leave me..!"I yelled and she seemed to taken aback..!

"Meeting achi nahi hue?"She asked with fake worrying expressions(atleast in my condition I was considering her expressions fake) and I laughed sarcastically. Kitna acha drama kar laite hai ya larki..!

"Meeting was perfect..!"I said sarcastically and gulped the remaining wine of the bottle. Then I opened the cork of the other bottle this time she succeeded to snatch it..!

"What the hell is your problem?"I shouted angrily and her worried expressions changed into furious ones.

"You are my problem..!"She shouted and I turned my face. "Q kar rahy hp ap ya sab? Abhi thori dare pehly tou ap theek thy?"She asked yelling at me.

"Q kay ankhain khul gai hain meri..!"I finally shouted.

"What do you mean?"She asked confusingly.

"Forget it..! Tum jaan kar kya kar lo ge..!"I said laughingly and got up to leave but she held my hand.

"I want to know..!"She shouted.

"Shut up and stop yelling..! don't forget that I am your BOSS..! I am done with you now get out of my house..!"I snapped back and jerked her hand away.. I started walking away she was hurt my heart was telling me not to hurt her but no I will not listen to my heart..! Never ever..! I was about to step on the staircase when I heard her whisper which left me baffled and the whisper was..

"I thought you love me..!"She whispered painfully and I closed my eyes to control myself..!

"Ghar Jaoa Nandini it's very late..!"I whispered painfully because I can't lie..! I LOVE HER..! I can't hate her..! I love her like her hell..! And then I walked to my room.

Chapter 8 B

Writer's POV

Har yaad teri de rahi hai sadaa
Ab paas ho tu bas yahi hai duaa
Kya qasoor mera woh mujhe na mila
Jo mera tha kabhi woh raha na mera

"Sir ap mjhy choor kar tou nahi jaoa gay na?"Nandini's voice echoed in Manik's ear as soon as he stepped in his room and look at the bed..!

In morning she was in his arms..! She was sealing promises with him but what happened now? Manik fell on his knees and started crying like a two year old kid.

"Do you trust me Nandini?"Manik's voice echoed in Nandini's ear she was still standing near the bar counter in broken glass pieces too much numb to react for anything..! Too much shocked..!! Feeling too much weak to even walk or talk..! Tears were flowing down her cheeks and she was feeling herself shattering bit by bit..! Few hours ago she was cherishing the happy moments with Manik now..! What happened to him all of a sudden..!

Dil ye maange duaayein sunle meri sadayein
Kaise jee main sakunga tere bin
Sajna teri judaai menu raas na aai
Laggdi duniya paraai tere bin

Nandini started running on the roads helplessly crying loudly and Manik started smashing each and everything of his room..! Both the destined lovers were in pain..! The reason was no one was ready to express himself..! No one was ready to talk..! Manik hurt his hand accidently and he cried as loud as he could..! Nandini reached orphanage and locked herself in her room. Maa knocked the door thousand times but no response..! Both were crying lying lifeless on their beds..! Nandini was totally unaware the reason of Manik's outburst and Manik was thinking himself worthless for love..!

Nandini's POV..

Sun rays disturbed my sleep and rubbed my eyes sleepily. Last night's incidents flashed in my mind like a freshly watched movie and tears again welled up in my eyes. Why are you doing this Manik? Aisa bhi kya ho gya?? I look at the time it was 7 am..! My head was aching badly and eyes were swollen..! I got up to get ready for office..! I need to talk to Manik..

It was 7:55 when I reached office and as usual I arranged Manik's desk,his files and all necessary chores. Then I walked towards the canteen to get Manik's coffee. I was coming back to Manik's Cabin with his coffee in my hands as it was exactly 9 when suddenly..

"Aray Nandini..! Good morning..! How was your weekend?"Cabir bhai's voice interrupted my thoughts and I look at him.

"It was good..!"I said softly and he came close to me.

"Hay..? Where is my all time chirping Nandu and your eyes are swollen..! What happened?"He asked worriedly and I was about to say something when suddenly Manik came.. He didn't look at me at all which tore my heart..I was staring at him when Cabir bhai shook my shoulder.

"Behna? Bola na? Have you cried? Your eyes are looking so puffy and red too..! Kise nay kuch kaha kya office me?"This time Cabir bhai cupped my face..! I wanted to shout loud that Manik is my culprit but I shook my head in a no..

"I am fine bhai..! It's ok..! Wo kal raat theek say soi nahi..! Maybe that's why..!"I said shaking my head and he nodded.

"Tu bta Manik? How was your weekend?"Cabir bhai asked Manik and for the first time he looked at me his eyes too were blood red what the hell was happening?

I came inside the Cabin leaving them alone and placed the coffee on the table..After sometime Manik came inside the Cabin and quietly sat on his chair. With that he opened his laptop and suddenly he hissed I look at him curiously and saw his hand. There was a large cut although it was not bleeding but yeah I guess it was hurting a lot. I panicked and rushed towards him..

"Manik..! Ya kaisy hua?"I asked worriedly holding his hand but he jerked my hand away.

"SIR..! Not Manik..! And this is non of your business take these files and do your work..!"HE said so much coldly that I felt my heart freezing.. Kal tak tou he was so much eager to hear his name from my lips and now..!

Hai tera rishta ye rooh se kya
Ke tere bin main hu bas jala
Jata tuje toh khud se hu mila
Toh khud se hi chhut mein raha

Day passed we both completely ignoring each other..! Next morning too came but there was no change in Manik..! I mean Manik Sir's behavior..! His silence was killing me..!

"Dant lo..! Onchi awaz main baat kar lo but please ignore mat karo..!"I thought painfully staring at him as it was evening of 3rd day since we talked. "Akhir q itny ajnabi ho gaye hain ap Manik? Q achanak mj say itna door ho gye hain..! Ap ka pyaar lainy ki adat hai ya berukhi nahi sahi ja rahi mj say..!"I again thought controlling my tears which were threaten to fall.

Chapter 8 C

It was 8 of night when he shut his laptop and got up to leave I too quietly got up and followed him. Today was strike and there was no auto or taxi on the road my orphanage was very far from the office and I had to walk till there, more over it was drizzling a little. Manik Sir had already left and I was walking hurriedly on the footpath to reach orphanage before rain. I was constantly cursing my fate why I always land up in trouble Aiyappa..! Suddenly I heard some noises I turned to look at the source of noises and saw few boys on motorbikes. I ignored them and again started walking although my instincts were indicating me to run I was about to run when two of them halted their bikes in front of me..!

"So..! Bro you think we should help this damsel in distress..!"One boy said to his partner and I gulped my saliva I had to act brave.

"I haven't asked for help..! Leave my way..!"I said coldly and they started laughing shamelessly.

"Ohoo..! But we can help you for sure..!"The same boy said and held my hand. I angrily slapped him with other free hand and he became furious. "Ohh you small witch..!"He shouted like a hungry lion and pull me towards him. I cried in pain bethy bithaye musibat galay par gai..! "I will not leave you that easily..!"He shouted and I felt like my blood dried in my veins. His all friends surrounded me and him. I was trying my best to free myself from his grip tears trickled down of my cheeks as I was helpless no one was there to help me. He roughly pull me again and in one go he tore the straps of my orange knee length frock and I gasped. The frock was about to fall when I held it near my chest..!

"Maannnikkk..!"I shouted hysterically as he was the only one in this whole world who can help me but he too was not talking to me..! Aiyappa save me..! The boy was about to pull my hand away when Suddenly someone held his hand..! I look at the person and my eyes again became teary..!

"Manik..!"I whispered painfully and he with a jerk pull me in his strong embrace...! Feeling his warmth after 3 long and tiring days I felt like I was in heaven. I cling to his chest as I was shivering badly and he wrapped his one arm around me and I hide myself fully into him..

"Wohooo..! Looks like someone is here to save his beauty..!"That boy again shouted shamelessly and I cling to Manik more and more.

"How dare you touch her?"Manik asked coldly and I cried and cried.

"Tu kon hai haan? Choor larki ko..!"The boy shouted. Manik took off his coat and made me wear it I was just looking at him but he didn't even gave me a single glance completely ignoring all the boys.."Ho gya tera?"Boy said coldly and Manik made me stand a little away. He calmly folded his sleeves and signaled the boy to come..! All the boys at once pounced upon him and he started beating all of them expertly. I was shivering with fear. Soon all the boys were lying on the road unconscious only the boy who was talking to us standing in front of Manik. Manik beaten him too but he punched Manik.

"Manik..!"I shouted hysterically and he stumbled a little but soon that boy too was down. Instantly it started raining. I was facing Manik's back he turned towards me..! His head was lower and once again he was not looking at me..! I was dying for a glance but it looks like he felt no mercy on me..! The cold expressions were never leaving his face..! We both were standing there completely drenched in rain..!

I took the lead and run towards him. I banged in his chest and clutched his back tightly. I cried like a maniac and he slowly put his one arm around me..! Without saying anything he picked me up needless to say he was not looking at me again and walked towards his car. He quietly made me sit on the passenger seat and he himself sat on driver seat..! During the whole drive I was staring at him but he was totally concentrated on the road. We didn't talked..! Silent tears were still rolling down my cheeks I know he was aware of my tears very well but I must say he was a master in hiding his inner turmoils. He halted the car and I look outside it was Malhotra Mansion..! He brought me to his house..!

I didn't stepped down the car he himself opened the door for me and without waiting for my consent he again picked me up. It was still raining and we both were again drenching in the rain until we entered the Mansion. He walked towards his room and made me sit on his bed. I look around his room and gasped there was not a single thing which was in it's real state everything was broken..! He grabbed his tracks,shirt and went inside the bathroom..! I didn't moved an inch from my place after almost five minutes he came out of the bathroom. Then he again opened his wardrobe and threw a button shirt and track towards me..! Along with a towel too..! I angrily threw them away and that was it for me..! It got up from the bed and within seconds I held Manik's collars...!

"Mr.Malhotra..! Mujrim ko saza dainy say pehly us ka qasoor bataty hain..! Ap tou mjy bina kise kasoor kay saza day rahy ho..!"I shouted painfully and for the first time he look at me..! He too had tears in his eyes..! Seeing his tears my eyes too become moist..! "Ap nay tou mj say promise kiya tha kay ap mjy kabhi nahi choro gay..! Tou phr? Kion itna dard day rahy ho ap mjy..!"I shouted shaking his collars badly. "Please..! Please mery pehly waly Manik ban jayen na..!"I pleaded and collapsed in his arms. He gathered me in his arms and I sobbed loudly in his chest. "Mjy dant lo..! Cheek lo..! Par mj say baat karo please..! Please..! Main mar jaoan ge..! Ap ka pyaar lainy ki adat hai ap ki bayrukhi nahi bardasht ho rahi..!"I said between my sobs and I felt his arms gripping me more tightly.

Manik's POV

Only I know how I was ignoring her..! Only I know how I didn't talked to her..! Only I know how I controlled myself not falling apart when I saw her in that vulnerable state..! When she hugged me I felt like missing part of my body came back to me..! Now she was shaking me..! She was asking for her fault..! What should I tell her..? If she loves someone else then why is she running behind me..! Why is there so much pain in her eyes..! What if I misunderstood her? I was hurting her..! She was crying because of me..! I don't know what I was doing..! But whatever it was,it was hurting both of us..!

"Don't cry..! Your tears hurt me..!"I whispered painfully and she look at me tearfully.

"Why do you care..? You are the reason of my tears..!"She accused me and I know she was right..! I had nothing to say in my "safai" I have messed up everything..!

"I do care..!"I whispered again..!

"Manik..! Why are you doing all this? Why are you doing all this when we both know that we can't stay away from each other? Why are you pushing me away? Hum sath q nahi reh skty?"She said innocently and closed my eyes.

"Nandini..! Main..!"I stammered and she cupped my cheeks.

"You can share everything to me..!"She whispered lovingly and I again burst out in tears I was so much hurt..! It felt like all those childhood wounds were fresh once again..! She grabbed my collars again and pull me over herself..! We both land up on the bed..! I was over her and she was under me..!

She pull me towards herself more and more there was a negligible distance between our lips which she covered easily. I closed my eyes and entwined our hands. I kissed her deeply as much as I could and surprisingly she was replying with equal fervor. I was going all crazy in my wild desires..! My one hand crept to open the buttons of my coat which she was wearing and once again a surprise she didn't stopped me..! I opened all the buttons..! Then I dived in the space between shoulder and neck. Her hands traveled in my hair and she fisted her hands pulling me more and more towards herself. I bit her neck and she hissed. I gently sucked that place and I heard her sigh of complete pleasure..! I had to stop I know but I can't help it..! I was not in my senses...! When suddenly..

"I love you..!"I heard her whisper like plead and I stopped where I was..! DID I HEARD IT RIGHT?

I am on verge of crying..! OH GOD..! I think the most emotional chapter I have ever wrote..! Manik is a complete messed up person..! HAWWW Nandini nay I love you bola? That was unexpected hai na? Nandini's dialogs were so emotional right? Bohat dil say likhy hain myny sachi..! Please bary bary comments karna because ya chapter myny bohat dil say likha hai..! With a pure heart..! POOR SOULS..! Waiting for my MaNan's come back..! I hope this was upto the mark..! PLZ do comment..! Hit like button...! I AM SO MUCH DESPERATELY waiting for ur response..!
