Good homework by creators

I like this show because the creators have done very good home work on the mannerism , language , location and costumes of the characters. One fine detail that i have also noticed is that in Ammaji's room you will find a photo of Lord Chitragupta. You will find Lord Chitrapgupta's photo in every shrivastava ( kayastha ) household, because he is the "kul devta" (family deity) of Shrivastavas (Kayasthas) and the family in the serial is also Shrivastava. I really appreciate the creators for keeping in mind such small details.
Did anybody else notice it ?

All I know is that creators are not doing justice to the audience. What's the point of showing these minute details when the storyline is so horrible? In this day and age I'm ashamed to watch such a backward family drama.

But such families do exist in small cities n villages and thats why the story is located in Mughal sarai and not in a metro. And also it do happens when small -small things creates big problem in families.
The story is like looking into the daily life of a family. es i do understand that there are loopholes in the story but we need to give some creative liberty for the sake of entertainment.

I find it very absurd that you like the serial cause of chitrgupt's ji photo but as a srivastav kayastha you are not voicing your concern on the behaviour of Shanti, Sarla. Such conniving, manipulative, uneducated, dim wit females..
Shrivastavs female don't have such traits.
This serial is maligning the education, good family values and traditions of srivastavs..

Creative Liberty ? Yes it's indeed a Liberty to the producers who want this show to keep running for long. As an educated audience I can no longer bear to watch this torture. Also, you are saying that this does happen in villages, then by showing this further evil crap on TV , imagine what impact it would have on the minds of people. It's been more than six months and absolutely no improvement.

Whilst I appreciate your observation of minute details, I cannot watch this torturous show. It's not healthy .

Maybe such families do exist, but not to this extreme. This serial is way over the top with negativity and such things do not happen in this world. Sarla & Shanti have lied and schemed so many times that in real world, it doesn't exist either.

Good post. I'm waiting for the same. But you see, Riya is a 'good girl'. And good girls in TVland

have to take a lot of nonsense silently, then only they are good girls. šŸ˜†

So, Riya will be made to remain silent and not even think critically about her in-laws

for a long,long time🄱

I think she will think critical of her mil, Nimmi but never of Shanti or Sarla. Gosh hope we do not have to spend another 100 epi for her to realize evilness of Shanti
