"Rey, Hurry up. Tauji will be here any moment."
"Yes, baby, I m coming. Five minutes more."
"No more five minutes, Rey. Why are you taking so long? mujhe bhi ready hona hai abhi-"
"I told you to take shower with me, it would have saved our time but no, you didn't agreed now wait outside."
Taani groaned hearing his answer, she kicked the washroom door and moved away before she started banging the door to take out her frustration. Today, Rishi is coming to meet his parents and discuss about the wedding but they arent even ready and now, Rey is not coming out of the washroom so that she can take shower and get read before her tauji's arrival.
"I m gonna kill you, Rey."
"Then who will tolerate you?"
Her anger rose when she heard his voice from inside the washroom. She knew he was intentionally taking so long because she denied to have shower with him.
"Reyaansh Singhania! Come out, Right now."
Taani shouted at top of her voice and at the same time, the washroom door opened and Rey stepped out of the washroom, water was dripping off his body and a towel wrapped around his waist. Taani felt anger leaving her at sight of her would be husband but she gained control over her ragging hormones and glared at him angrily.
"Dont shout so much, jaan, you are scaring my poor baby."
Her nose flared up in anger when she heard his remark. She took her clothes and walk inside the washroom, ignoring him completely.
"My teddy bear look so cute when she is angry." Rey thought to himself, he was in mood to tease his would be wife, and also, angry taani is the most adorable sight he had ever seen. He finds it cute how her tiny nose turn red and her brows knitted together when she is angry. He ran his hand through his wet hair and moved toward the closet, sliding the door open he took out his clothes. Today is very special day, today their parents will decide the wedding date and other things regarding their marriage and he is very much excited for that. After he got ready, he sat on the bed while checking his cell phone.

His gaze shifted over her as she stepped out of the room, clad in beautiful churidaar.
"Someone is looking beautiful." She blushed hearing his compliment. She forgot she was suppose to be angry on him, and blame the charming look of his for that. Rey got from the bed and walked toward her, he wrapped his arms around her and nuzzle her face in crook of her neck. A sigh escaped her lips feeling his lips against her skin, he started kissing her neck, making her feel jittery.
"Taani beta-" She pushed him when she heard avantika's voice. Rey tried pulling her back in his arms but she ran toward the door, turning down little she stuck her tongue at him making him laugh at her childishness.
"You will pay for this, Mrs. Singhania" Rey said to her, with mischievousness in his eyes while his voice held hidden promises.
"Its Ms. Shekhawat, Rey. We are not married yet."
"What can i do? I dont have a heart to call you Ms. Shekhawat. I like Mrs. Singhania better."
Taani shook her head, she will never be able to win against him when it comes to cheesy talks. Just then she heard the door bell ring. Her lips curved into a wide smile, knowing its her tauji. She opened the door of her room and went downstairs to greet her tauji.

"Ranvijay?"
"Rishi? Is that really you?"
Taani watched the duo with confusion as her tauji and would be father-in-law hugged each other like they have met each other after ages. They both greeted each other like they have known each other from ages.
"Aap dono ek dusre ko jaante ho?" Taani asked them, to clear her confusion and by that time Rey also came there and was equally surprised.
"Haa, Beta. Ranvijay and Rishi bhaisahab used to be best friends but then we shifted to london and slowly lost contact with rishi bhai sahab" Avantika answered her, taani was surprised knowing it so was rey but they both felt happy that their parents already know each other.
"Yes, taani beta. We know each other since our college days but i never knew Rey is ranivijay's son" Rishi said as they all settled in hall. Taani sat beside her tauji while rey sat opposite to her, beside his mother.
"Even i didn't knew, you are taani's tauji. it was completely unexpected but i m happy that because of our children we met again." Ranvijay said to him, smiling widely. Anybody could tell that he was extremely happy after meeting his best friend. Taani & Rey watched each other as their parent's got busy in talking to each other, reminiscing their old days..
Rey cleared his throat to gain their attention, the trio stopped and look at him, giving him 'What happened?' look.
"You guys had something important to discuss than your old days, remember?" Rey spoke, giving them hint for what they were there.
"Oh! My baby is quiet eager to get marry-" Avantika teased her son, Rey ran his hand through his well jelled hair. They all laughed at him while taani smiled shyly.
"Avatika, did you talked to pandit ji? What did he said about the wedding dates?" Ranvijay asked her, avantika glance at her son who was looking at her with curious excited eyes.
"Panditji ne 2 weeks baad ka mauharat nikala hai. I guess we have enough time for the preparations-"
"We should fix this date then. What say Rey-Taani?" Rishi asked them, they nodded with small smile but inside, they both were dancing.
"Great! Then we should start the preparation."
"Avantika bhabhi, I want to say something-"
"Ji, Rishi bhai-sahab, kahiye na."
"Till wedding, i think its better if we don't tell anyone about taani's pregnancy. I mean, aap toh jaante hi ho agar yeh baat saamne aai toh log tarah-tarah ki baatien banayenge and as a father i would never want that."
Rishi put his worry forward. And both, Ranvijay and Avantika understood his worry.
"Don't worry, Rishi, even we weren't planning to disclose this to anyone. It's very sensitive matter." Ranvijay assured him. Rishi smiled at them, then turned toward rey and taani.
"And you two, don't disclose this news to swayum or your friends. I don't want to take any risks. Its about taani's life." Rishi told them, when it comes to taani, he is a possessive daddy who can not bear even a scar on his baby girl. He would do anything to keep her away from pain.
"Sure, uncle." Rey smiled at him, assure him. Later, Rey decided to take taani to the hospital for her regular check while the elders sit and talk about their old day, re-living those days of their friendship.

"I'm so happy, taani, just two week, then you are mine." Rey said to her, smiling whole heartedly as they drove back to home after her check up. All her reports are normal, and baby is healthy, it gave him another reason to be happy.
"Rey, lets go to beach." Taani told him, Rey looked at her then nodded happily. And changed the route.
Soon they reached the beach, rey parked the car and they both moved out of the car.
Hand in hand, they were walking on the sand barefoot. It was peaceful moment for them.
"You know, taani, very soon we will also come here with our baby, and enjoy like these families." Rey spoke while staring at the families who were playing. He couldn't wait for the day when he will go out with his family.
Rey kissed side her head, he couldn't thank her enough for giving him this beautiful gift. She is giving him life's most beautiful gift, introducing him to fatherhood. He can not wait for the day when he will hold his baby in his arms.
