In today's episode we got to see twinkle show her love and respect for her mom. & She again told yuvraj that her mom matters most to her and that's it.

But the big lesson takeaway point I got from this twinkle yuvi scene was twinkle's almost revelation/confession that she was aware and tolerated yuvi's bad behavior, rudeness, anger all because she thought he would change for her- she thought her love could change him! This is a big thing she said; unfortunately it holds true for many people in relationships, both females and males. There are many people who put a blind eye to abuse like yuvraj's, it could be emotional abuse, just terrible possessive and violent behavior (at any degree).

People like twinkle accept it because they remember the good times, they just love them and feel it'll go away, they will change over time from their love. But this behavior is wrong no matter what, and if it's repeated, chance is it won't stop, so it's better to stop dreaming and living in denial. Though it took a lot for twinkle to get to this stage of finally accepting yuvraj behaves really bad, & is disrespectful (still she just knows a quarter of how bad he is), at least she was able to accept she was living with false hopes he would change for her. Also the slap was very justified and I'm so glad she stood up for herself by doing so.

Glad they are giving this lesson of how important it is to not stand abuse of any kind, in the false hopes that an aggressor will change for you, and or that your love for them will make them change. This is a fantasy illusion that sadly many people fall prey to.

very rightly said. sadly it happens in this day and age but a very good lesson shown that ppl should not fall for it.
If he doesnt respect you eh never will so hoping ur love will change him is not an option, one should never stay silent in face of such abuse.
Twinkle thinking this and today speaking up was very good thing. I wonder did cvs plan it this way or saw fans commenting on twinkle's stupidity and changed the track. What ever it is i am happy that this major change of graph occurred in twinkles character. Now she has matured and understands that respect and love go hand in hand.

Yes it was about time too as Twinkles passive & submissive behaviour towards Yuvis violent actions etc was really really off putting...
Good to see CVs give her back her self respect...mind ...etc

Thanks Ian. Yes glad she acknowledged that he doesn't respect her and she would not willingly marry yuvi bc of all this anyway. So she was saying this not just because of her mom, but also because of how unacceptable yuvraj's behavior is.

Perhaps the cvs had this in mind already, because I feel they were building on this gradual characterization of twinkle, the stages of denial and blind love, leading to choosing her mother and now finally standing up for herself against disrespect and bad behavior.

Really it was time, I love how it just fit into place. It took time to get to this point, but in a way that's realistic bc people in these situations do behave like twinkle did- in denial.
Truly, yup it was great to see twinkle stand up for herself today:)

I am so proud of Twinkle today. Yesterday when she was showing attitude to Kunj I was okay because she thinks he wronged her. However, there was still this fear in me that she will be lenient towards Yuvi. But after watching today's episode, that fear is completely gone. There is NO way that Twinkle will now sit back and tolerate any type of abuse, whether it's from Kunj or Yuvi.

After drinking the poison, she decided to live for her mom. After being assaulted, she decided to live for her self-respect as well. It's unfortunate that such major events had to happen to her for her to reach this point of maturity and self-love but they were essential.

👏 kudos @ bold are so right ... Yes romance and believing your love will change someone so till that point to take abuse is a mindset that needs to change.

She is naive and protected and in love with yuvi since she was a girl in school. With no father figure she had no other comparison. Seeing kunj's protectiveness and willingness to help as a friend, gives a different perspective. The final nail was the threat of losing her mom... All these combined to help her grow a little more.
