Gayatri comes running out into the rain and she recalls all his harsh words as she gets drenched. She is in shock and falls down on the ground with a thud and breaks down. She recalls his each and every word, of his hatred and berates herself for dreaming and thinking that Ranaji was in love with her. She thinks that she never wanted to be the queen but because he married her she had to come here when she would have been happier at home. Ranaji comes just then and pulls her up. Gayatri removes his hand and tells him that she doesn't need his support and is going home as she isn't needed hereš Ranaji tells her that the palace is her home and being a queen, this behavior doesn't befit her.

Chachaji wonder what's up and just then Kokila comes and tells him that she was imprisoned. They suddenly see Gayatri in the pink lehenga and are shocked. Rajmata sees too. She feels that Ranaji requires love in his life and when she saw her letter, she felt Gaytari would bring the lost happiness and love back in his life. Gayatri asks what about her feelings, how would she feel, of an incomplete love She adds that she is leaving the palace as she cannot stay a moment more. RM stops her by telling her how bad Govindseth would feel, whether he would be able to face this humiliation and adds that she is a Queen and is responsible not only to herself but also to the people and now everything lays in her hands,whether she wants to accept defeat in the first go and leave or stay and pave a path for herself.

RM tells him that it isn't right to send her home in this state but he retorts that he is just following Gayatri's wishes and will drop her home courteously. He sarcastically adds that the deal has gone wrong so she has to bear the losses. RM tries to stop him but he leaves. She takes her to Sulakshana's room and shows her the portrait of Sulakshana wearing the exact pink lehenga. The black clad person sees everything. Gayatri is shocked and realizes that he still loves his first wife but wonders why he put the allegations on her and resolves to get answers!!
