what is this show about?

can anyone please give me a brief explaination about what's the storyline for this drama?😳

my understanding is that this show is about an ichadhari nagin who takes human form and gets married into a family to take revenge because allegdly that family killed it's parents to gain the naagmani.
But the nagin starts getting confused because of her wifely duties and her love for her husband.
Kinda like the Sri DEvi movie in Nagina...different though because in that as a child rishi kapoor is bitten by a male snake. Then a snake charmer calls the male snake back and make the snake take his poison back which means that the male snake put his life into the rishi kapoor. Now SriDevi is also an ichidhari nagin, and she realise that her love (the male snake) has put his life into the child...and she has to get the child back to her "husband'[ so that she can bite the child and make her husband live again. But she witnesses the love between the mother and son, and then feels she cannot separte the mother and son, so then the nagin become a beautiful female (a.ka. Sridevi ) and woos and weds her beloved (a grown up rishi kapoor). But then that same snake charmer has been searching for that female and male snake becuase they have a naagmani which is valuable and powerful...and the snake charmer (amrish puri, RIP) wants it.

the concept and story of the show si as follows:

Naaginn is the story of Amrita, an Icchadari Naag, played by me. Her parents get killed and Amrita is all set to take revenge. Before her mother dies, Amrita sees the killer's pictures in her mother's eyes. Her mother also warns Amrita that she needs to attain the Precious Naagmani and keep it under her possession, as any human with a bad mind, can use it causing great destruction to mankind. So Amrita sets off to search for her parents' killer as well as the Naagamani.


In this journey, she marries the son of the Rathod family, and believes that Vishnu, the father of her husband is her parents' killer. Once she gets married, she notices that Vishnu, her father-in-law is such a good person by heart, and realizes that something is amiss, and that he is not the real culprit. Later, it turns out that, Vishnu's brother Rudr, played by Ali Hassan is the real culprit. So thus begins the struggle in Amrita's mind, where she realizes that her husband and father-in-law are very nice, but she has to avenge Rudr who is a part of the family.. This is the tale of Amrita, the Naag who gets torn between her love for her husband and the revenge she is to seek for the brutal death of her parents.
