The film has started being shot in Ludhiana by Nitesh Tiwari!
Aamir Khan has finally started shooting for Dangal in Ludhiana. He plays the role of real life wrestler Mahavir Phogat while his wife's role will be essayed by Sakshi Tanwar! The film's shooting started yesterday and Nitesh Tiwari had Mahavir Phogat set the clapper for the first scene at the Mahurat!
Here is Aamir Khan shooting for the first scene of Dangal as Mahavir claps before the shot and the Phogat sisters along with Sakshi Tanwar look on.
Now that we see them seated next to each other, it's remarkable to see how Aamir has moulded his physical form radically in order to look exactly like Mahavir Phogat. The real-life wrestler still is slightly bigger than Khan but we have to give where credit is due and say that Khan has worked crazy hard on looking authentic as the character
We love how Aamir and Mahavir Phogat almost mirror each other. Here they are sharing a sweet moment, literally!
It wasn't just Mahavir Phogat who came on Dangal's sets, the Phogat sisters Geeta and Babita also came to support Aamir on the first day of shoot!
