SRGMP contestants follow India-Forums

Friends, i have a strange feeling that just like we all keenly follow SRGMP C2007, the contestants are also following the happenings in India-Forums especially the SRGMP forum.

Some recent happenings on the stage of SRGMP seem to have been influenced by the views & ideas expressed by the members of this forum and that the contestants take the effort of having a peek at some of the interesting topics & posts here.

This might even be a pleasant coincidence also, but who knows they might even have a profile with a pseudo ID posting their comments as well.

To cite a few incidents which might have a bearing on the contest.

- Sudden change in HR's actions & attitude,

- The return of live orchestra

- Conducting a classical & ghazal round

- Bringing guests like Jagjit singh & Pt Jasraj

But the clincher was a topic started by Advil ji called Song Farmaish, and Raja is actually singing a song this week (Sapne mein milti hain) chosen by me for him which i had posted in the topic. Many of the songs suggested by other members like Albela sajan for Amanat have also been picked. So what do you say guys & gals, coincidence or may be true?

Donno about the threads, but they sure follow the telebuzz article i am sure.especially the critical review.... they have infact answered to so many questions raised there in the shows....

But if India Forums really has an influence or f the SRGMP creative team even considers our suggestions, that is a great news to us music lovers...and great boost to India Forums.... thus showing that..it surely hold a place of repute in the minds of the creatives..... YAY !!! India Forums, SRGMP section !! 👏👏👏

If you have seen the last Hungama episode they showed the contestants fighting for the lone computer in their room, to chat with their fans on Orkut, so they might be acquainted with IF also.

I had suggested a round of semi-classical songs of Manna Dey's and sure there was a semi-classical round with 2 Manna Dey's songs. I had even suggested jhanak jhanak tori baje payaliya for Raja and he sung the same song. I had suggested laga chunari mein for Musarrat but he had gone by that time and Aneek picked that one!!!!!

Raja had also sung Dard-e-disco & Chaiyya chaiyya which was suggested by the said thread by Advil ji, aap kaha ho Adiji, aap ko aur Salilji ko zaroor ek award milni chahiye, Zee tv ke aankhen kholne ke liye.
