Hospital:
KKusum asks Aryaman how all this happened… The doctor comes there and tells them that Kumud is out of danger now… Kkusum is relieved… Aryaman asks the doctor if they can see her… The doctor tells them that she doesn't want to meet anybody and they should not disturb her at this point of time… Kkusum says that she wants to meet Kumud… Dadi says that she cannot meet her since she is the one responsible for her condition… Aryaman asks her to go and see her… Kkusum has tears in her eyes and she looks gratefully towards Aryaman… Kkusum goes inside… When Kumud sees her, she turns her back towards her… Kkusum says that she knows Kumud thinks that she is responsible for everything… She says that she knows that Kumud did all this because she can't see her papa going to jail… She says that she wasn't able to save Kshitij but no matter what happens she will definitely save Abhay… Kumud is crying… Kkusum asks her not to ever repeat what she did today… She caresses her hair and leaves…
Abhinav's House:
Kkusum comes to Abhinav and says that she is ready to prove Abhay mad in the court… She says that he was right, they have no other way left… She tells her that Kumud attempted suicide because she didn't want her papa to go to jail… Abhinav gives her some medicines and asks her to give the dose he recommended to Abhay… Kkusum looks like she is in a dilemma… Abhinav asks her to control herself and not to tell anybody about it… he asks her to give him the injection before coming to court tomorrow…
The Jail:
Kkusum goes to visit Abhay at jail… The inspector checks her bag… Kkusum looks really nervous but he does not find anything and let her go… Abhay is writing on the wall… He does not talk to Kkusum… He asks her to leave from here… She says that doctor uncle has said that if he takes the medicines, then he will be able to go from there… Abhay says that she is not telling the truth… Kkusum says that she'll go and tell mummy that he does not want to come home… Abhay asks her if she would really take her to his mom… He agrees to take the medicine… Kkusum takes out the syringe from the lunch box and asks Abhay not to shout or anything because then he won't be able to go home… kkusum gives him the injection… Abhay feels the pain but controls himself...
The Court:
Abhinav is with the lawyer… Kkusum comes there… She looks lost… Abhinav asks her if the work is done… She tells him that she did it… Abhinav says that all depends on her now, if he is proven mad, then they will let him go… he says that the medicine that they have given him will definitely affect him… He says that she has to poke Abhay somehow…
The Court Room:
The judge asks for Kumud… The lawyer tells him that she is not well and won't be able to attend the court today… He gives him her medical reports… The judge says that he had asked the defense to come up with some solid proof… He asks if they have any solid proof… The defense lawyer tells the court that the mental condition of Abhay is not well… he says that he want Kkusum to come to the witness box… Kkusum goes there… The lawyer asks him about Abhay's condition… She says that he is not well… Sarla is shocked… The defense asks her how is he not well… KKusum is not able to say anything… Nakul, Nitin, Sarla look on… The judge asks the defense to prove what he is trying to say… The defense lawyer says that he doesn't want to prove anything, all he wants to say is that Abhay's mental condition is not well and who would know better about his than Kkusum… The judge says that the court will directly talk to KKusum now… The court takes a 15 minute break… Abhinav asks Kkusum what she is doing; he says that this way they'll lose the case… She says that she doesn't know what to do, whenever she sees Abhay's face, she thinks whether she is being fair to him… Abhinav says that she only has to prove Abhay mentally challenged… He says that the medicine will start working anytime soon and she shouldn't miss this opportunity…
The judge asks Kkusum what she wants to say… She says that since a few days, Abhay is not mentally well… sarla looks at her shocked ((((I wonder why))))… She says that he tends to lose control very quickly and its hard to control him… The prosecution gets up and says that this is only a tactic to save Abhay from the punishment… Kkusum says that she is not lying… The lawyer asks her if she is trying to say that her husband is 'pagal'… Kkusum says yes… Sarla, Nitin, Dadi, Nakul, Kapil, everyone there is shocked… She says that he does not recognize her or their daughters and that's why she is saying this… Abhinav looks at his watch (waiting for the time the medicine would kick in)… The judge asks the prosecutor if he has something to ask… The prosecutor points towards Kkusum and asks Abhay who she is… Abhay says that he doesn't know but whoever she is she is very bad, he says that he doesn't know why she lives with them… Sarla is crying… The prosecutor says that if someone loses his partial memory, then it doesn't mean that he is 'pagal'… He says that he hasn't done anything which proves that he is mad… Kkusum shouts and says that how does he know he is not pagal… She says that what would you think of the person who celebrates his birthday at this age and beats up a kid during the party… She asks whether they would consider such a person pagal or not… Sarla is crying… She asks them to ask the police department because when he was in jail, he even raised his hand on a constable… Abhay shouts that he is not pagal and he wants to go from there… The defense says that why would the woman who loves her husband so much try to prove that her husband is mad… He says that he requests the court to send him to mental asylum… Sarla and Nitin are shocked… Sarla cries… The defense says that Abhay does not need to go to jail, instead he need to go to the mental asylum… Abhay gets violent and runs to the lawyer and grabs him… The constables run to control him… The inspector hits Abhay on his head to control him… Kkusum shouts "Abhay!!!!"… Sarla is now out of control and cries bitterly… They take him away… The defense says that there is nothing left to prove now… The judge gives his verdict: He says that Abhay is being sent to the mental asylum for treatment since it has been proved that he is mentally challenged… Sarla is upset and so is Kkusum…
Outside the Court:
Abhinav comes to Kkusum and says that he understands her condition but this was the only way to save Abhay from the punishment… Kkusum nods her head… Kkusum walks down the court stairs… She thinks how she will face Sarla's question… She sees the Kapoor family standing there… The police are taking Abhay when sarla runs to him… Abhay asks her to take him with her… Kkusum cries… They take him away… Kkusum screams his name and runs behind the van… She kneels down and cries… Kkusum title track is being played… Flashback scenes of Abhay in jail are shown…
Mahi's House:
Kali is crying… Mahi asks her what happened… Kali tells her that she hates Kkusum because she proved Abhay as 'pagal' in the court… mahi turns around and says that she doesn't understand what KKusum is up to… She says that who does something like this to their own daughter… She says that she wishes she knew what was going on in Kkusum's mind right now… Kali says that she doesn't care if someone knows or not, but she will definitely find out what is going on… The episode ends with Mahi smiling wickedly…
