Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have dated in the past, have been in quite a turbulent relationship, and have provided fodder to gossip mills for more than a decade now. And no, even after a decade of their break-up, both Salman and Aishwarya having moved on in their respective lives, wagging tongues still love a dose of the good ol' goss.

As of 2015, Salman Khan is busy juggling film shoots, promotions for his TV show Bigg Boss Nau (Bigg Boss 9) and other work commitments. Aishwarya, on her part, is getting back to the silver screen with Jazbaa after a gap of five years. Amid other tales, at this presser for his upcoming show Bigg Boss Nau, Salman Khan had to face a particularly not-so-easy question from a certain someone from the media.

This lady asked Salman if Aishwarya would make an appearance on his Bigg Boss 9 to promote her Jazbaa... like, you know, so many other people promote their films on TV shows? To this, Khan seemed to maintain his cool, albeit with a tongue-firmly-in-cheek answer in place. He said, "This had to be the last question before the PR takes away the mike. Please clap for this madam. Kya Jazbaati sawal laai ho aap (What an emotional question you have asked)!"

Later, onlookers spotted Salman humming the lyrics of Aate Jaate Jo Milta Hai Tumsa Lagta Hai, the popular song from his 2000 film Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega.

Salman and Aishwarya had begun dating while shooting for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1998). Later, in 2002, once the two had parted ways, Aishwarya, in an interview to the Times of India, had said how Salman hadn't been able to come to terms with their break-up, and was harassing her. "Salman and I broke up last March, but he isn't able to come to terms with it," she had said.

"After we broke up, he would call me and talk rubbish. He also suspected me of having affairs with my co-stars. I was linked up with everyone, from Abhishek Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan. There were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks. And I would go to work as if nothing had happened," Aishwarya had been quoted as saying.

After their relationship ended, Salman and Aishwarya have largely tried not to cross paths with each other. And while Aishwarya tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, Salman is still holding on to the title of The Most Eligible Bachelor.
