One of the internet's most unlikely stars has passed a critical test in its development - and it's good news for the large lump of cheese.
Online star passes crucial test
More than 1.5 million people have gone online since January to look at Wedginald, a 44lb (20kg) Somerset Cheddar which stars on www.cheddarvision.tv.
Normally there is not much to see, as the cheese simply sits where it is.
However, this week there was a flurry of activity when the cheese went through a crucial grading process.
Creator Tom Calmer took a sample from the cheese in order to check its quality and maturity.
