Though Anandi is a good name, but Nandini has ease of pronunciation - i.e. better sounding word. Shiv and Shivam almost same.

Many characters have typical rural name like Khajan, Suguna, Gahna, Teepri, Bhanwari devi etc. And I don't even know the meaning of Harki - never heard this name.

harki's name's menaing i don't know but its a name of akabr's rajput wife whom we all know by the name of "jodha bai". in history there was no jodhabai. salim i.e jahangeer's mother's name was harki bai & not jodha bai.

If I remember correctly, an article after the leap clearly said the name Nimboli was after bitter Neem fruit which reflects unwantedness.Obviously for Akhiraj and Harki, Nandini was an unwanted garbage.

I don't think Sanchi sounds old fashioned from any angle 😕 The name correctly suited the so called modern character.

As far as Shiv is concerned, in many families names of eldest kid are more traditional looking than younger ones 😆 There was also a theory of being synonymous to Shiv-Parvati in those names.

And phooli and pampodi 😆I like Anandi name. Don't know if it's old fashioned or modern. It's not so common though. Ganga and gauri are traditional of course. Nandini is also traditional sounding but nice.

Shiv Raj Shekhar is a name very carefully selected by writers.

no that was not replacement. Pradeep Yadav was also original director. he used 2 direct alongwid this one.but then this director left after 1st leap .then i think sumtime back this one is back but in march PY left.so now hes alone directing the show.
