In one of the initial episodes they show Kabir visiting a couple of kids in the slums. He is playing with them and also gives them books to study. The kids mention 'who didi aajkal nahin aati...hum usse miss kar rahen hai' to which kabir says that she has gone away somewhere and that he also misses her. Did they ever mention/show who this didi was. Cant be Shreya - cant imagine her playing with street kids - and Tarini is still very much there.

Who wants to know the answer contact Shreya as she is the only person who knows everything about Kabir's past. But risk is yours , she may manipulate you.😲

I have asked this question so many times that I have lost interest

I guess it was either a blooper or it can only mean Tarini

May be she had gone somewhere for a few days

You can safely assume it was Kabir's bhabhi, Sandhya. She is the only woman who was away from and he appeared to miss her as well during the engagement scenes.

Or may be the whole plot was dropped. That scene was shown in episode 7 when I guess, the whole story wasnt ready !

Even I wondered about that. It seemed he was talking of his ex wife. But now knowing Shreya this is not possible that she would have come there with him. Maybe he means Tarini. But I feel that plot is no longer in play.
