Leela Hospital
"Good morning Doc!" Roshni wished Sameer as she entered the cabin. He smiled at her and gestured her to sit.
"So how are you?" He asked as he sipped on to his coffee.
"I am good. Just wanted a favor from you!" She said and looked at him expectantly.
"Go on."
"I have a surgery today at 1pm. And..."
"And you want me to take up the case as you have to go somewhere!" He completed her sentence. "I know you very well now." He added.
"Thanks a lot. I have to pick someone from the airport." She said as she prepared to leave.
"But when did I agree to you!" He said with a straight face.
"Don't try to be the old Sameer now. I know you will do that for me." She said as she moved to the door.
"But whom do you have to pick up? Tell me I will send someone." He asked.
"Oh I can't send someone. I have to go myself. Nick is coming so..." Roshni said with a little blush covering her cheeks.
"Nick who?"
"My friend. Actually my boyfriend!"
"Boyfriend?!" He replied in a shock. She had a boyfriend. She is in a relationship. But she didn't tell him. But why will she tell you! You guys have been friends for a week only. He tried to explain everything to himself.
"Got to go now. I will tell you the details later." Roshni said moving out of the room.
But her being in a relationship is just a normal thing. Sameer said to himself. Why am I feeling so bad? Normal people of this age are in a relationship Sameer unlike you. He tried to convince himself.
Leave it now. I have to go for the surgery. He mumbled and left.
Little did he realize that he was getting affected with Roshni and her activities a lot these days. They became good friends over few days only. It was not love or something but pure friendship. They loved talking to each other and discussing their cases now. He was no more the same arrogant Sameer with her even though the hospital saw the old Sameer everyday. Their friendship was still growing stronger when Nick called Roshni to inform that he was coming to India. Little did they all know that his trip will bring a lot of changes to their life.
Airport
"Hey beautiful" Nick kissed Roshni on her cheek.
"Not here Nick." She said as she picked up his luggage.
"I will do that." He took his bag from her.
They both got in the car and she drove them to her house.
"So how is everything in the hospital?" Nick questioned as he played with the stereo system.
"Everything is better now. In a much better condition. Bhai is back home. Mumma is still angry about Ansal being an investor but we will sort it out. Sharad is still in the hospital and so is Mona and Dr. Malhotra. I don't why bhai trusts them so much. Can't he see through them?!" She replied.
"Oh good then. Anything new? Cases and all?" He asked as he changed the stations.
"Oh it's all good. I told you about that new doctor na. Dr. Sameer" She chirped.
"Whom you hate so much." He said.
"Not that much. We are friends now. Much cordial than before."
She said witha faint smile covering her lips.
"Good for him. Warna toh tum use maar deti. Are koi achha channel nahi hai kya FM par? Sab purane Gano ke channel set kiye hain!" He said irritated with the stereo system.
"Woh Sameer ne kiye the Kal. He likes old songs so he asked if he could play them. And I don't listen to songs so I had no issue."
"Oh you dropped him and all? Hain? You said you guys are just cordial with each other?! Mere piche naya friend dhoondh liya. And he doesn't have a car?" He teased.
"Are his car broke down and the mechanic was not available so I dropped. And koi Naya friend nahi dhundha tum hi ho jo ho! Hum dono bas ache dost hain. Aur Ghar aa gaya. Chalo. You go I will come by 5." She replied witha little smile on her lips.
Nick got down and Roshni left for the hospital.
