Bhool Bhulaiya and Chandramukhi?

Has anyone seen the Telugu or Tamil version of Chandramukhi starring Rajnikanth??? Well after watching the promos for Bhool Bhulaiya, I thought that it has the same storyline??? Anybody else think the same?? I won't give away the story but am hoping for replies!

Bhool-bhulaiya is frame to frame Hindi remake of Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu for which Shobhana won nationa award. Chandramukhi was "inspired" by Manichitrathazhu.

In Hindi version Vidya is playing Shobhana's role.

yes, i have heard about that film too...so i guess they are remaking this film in each language day by day! 😆

Priyadarshan got original rights from Fazil (director of Malayalam movie) and remaking Manichitrathazhu where as for Tamil movie they didn't take rights and were sued which was settled later. The same production of Tamil movie then remade it in Telugu and Kannada so they have added something extra in the doctor character and changed storyline a bit.

BB is exact copy of original Malayalam film.

Manichitrathazhu was an amazing movie...chandramukhi seemed like a spoof or something!! 🤢 ...ya bhool...is a remake of the former...I so hope Vidya Balan's performance is atleast a little close to what Shobhana's is. None of the other actress could get anywhere near!! 😊

never heard of it and dont even want to see his films. their the same storyline. nothing new expect this time he used rajputians 😛

oh wow.. so bhool bhaiya is more or less like chandramukhi. chandramukhi was passable only cos of jothika's fantabulous performance. vidya has some big shoes to fill.😉 but i'm sure she'll pull it off cos i think she's one great actress.😃
