"Is this Rishu's office? It's so huge Sultan" Madhu tells Sultan stepping out of the car & looking at a huge building which happens to Rk's office.
"Yes. It is" Sultan acknowledge her & pulls out their luggage from the car trunk. Sultan has accompanied Madhu to Singapore as Rk didn't like Madhu travelling on her own. Yeah! Its another request or order made by Rk to Sultan.
"Why you brought me to his office. Take me to his home." Madhu tells him.
"He lives in this building only. Penthouse" he clarifies her.
"Oh I see. Have you been here already? If so how many times." Madhu asks out of curiosity as he knows the place as his back of the hand.
"Yeah. This is my 4th time visiting Singapore. Twice before you both got married when he worked here for two years. Then after you both got divorce once I came to see how he is doing. & now I m here with you" he explains.
"How was he when you last saw him?" Madhu asks in a low voice.
"Oh yeah. He was grant. So happy & peaceful with his life as he don't have to baby sit you all day" he says mockingly. She turns her face away not wanting to meet his accusing eyes.
"Come" he says & guides her to the elevator.
"Rishuuu" Madhu shrieks as soon as Rk opens the door & throws herself in his arms.
"I missed you so much" She hugs him hard & he hugs her back with a smile.
"How was your journey, baby?" Rk asks but before she could answer, Sultan pushes her aside & hugs Rk almost knocking him down making Madhu gasp & wonder whether they are really gay, seeing their open display of affection.
"Rk, don't forget what I asked in return for bringing this brat here" Sultan whispers to Rk.
"I won't be coming in. I will just drop you okay?" Rk says softly.
"Where you two are going?" Madhu asks curiously. Sultan ignores her & take Rk a little away from her & insists "It's will be so much fun Rk"
"No way I m coming to a stripe club with you Sultan" Rk says sternly but maintained his voice low so that no one will here.
"Stripe club?" Madhu shouts hearing Rk's whispered voice too. After all she has snake ears.
Both Sultan & Rk closes their eyes in dread.
"I'm coming. I'm coming. I'm coming. Please take me with you Sultan." She begs Sultan jumping up & down.
"You are not going such place, Madhu" Rk hisses.
"Why Rishu? Even you come with me. It will be exiting." Madhu says.
"What excitement she will get seeing girls stripe their cloths & pole dance?" Sultan mutters under his breathe. "Are you a lesbian?" Sultan asks with a smirk taking revenge on her for asking him whether he was a gay.
"What? No" Madhu says angrily. "I heard in stripe club even men use to stripe their cloths, I have never seen a nude man" Madhu says grinning making Rk grit his teeth & bunch his hand in a fist.
"Babies are not allowed in such clubs" Sultan says mockingly.
"I'm not a baby, you idiot. I m an adult. Don't you see me?" She says angrily, straightening her shoulder, pushing her chest forward & Rk steps before her hiding her asset from Sultan's view.
"Will you take me or not?" Madhu asks pushing Rk away & takes a threatening step towards sultan.
"No. I won't take you to stripe club you kiddo" Sultan says pushing her forehead back a little with his fingers.
"First I will see how you are going, Sultan" They heard a roaring voice.
"What the hell Dips is doing here Rk?" Sultan asks to Rk in a whisper recognizing the voice.
"As a token of appreciation for bring Madhu here, I called Dips to come over here without telling you so that she can surprise you & you both can enjoy together but never thought my surprise will back fire." Rk says in a contrite voice.
"You bloody ungrateful wretch. Why didn't you tell me before man? atleast you could have stopped me when I was talking about going stripe club as you know she was in there" Sultan barks at Rk.
"Sorry, Dude" Rk says. Sultan glares at him murderously.
"I'm cursing the day we met & became friends" Sultan mutters.
"Sultan, Dips is waiting for you. Go face the music. Till then I will talk with Rishu as I know neither of us is going to that club." Madhu tells grinning widely.
"I will kill you witch" Sultan shouts bringing his hands close to madhu's neck to kill her but she jumps back hiding behind Rk.
"Jaanu..." Sultan whines.
"Come in, you bas***d" Dipali spits the word & marches to the room back from where she came.
"So how are you, Madhu?" Rk asks taking her to the dining table & hands her a glass of orange juice & pours a glass of white wine for himself.
"Good. Missed you badly but now happy seeing you. But I guess you totally forgot your little friend?" she asks sipping the juice.
"I will never forget my friend" Rk smiles & ruffles her hair lovingly. I only had forgotten my wife, my broken marriage... but why still the wound that terrible phase gave me is so fresh & aching me badly?... may be because I hadn't forgotten anything, may be I hadn't moved on in my life, may be I m still stuck up with my past. Rk thoughts.
"Are you happy, Rishu?" Madhu asks hesitantly.
"Yep" he lies faking a smile. She smiles back. "Come. I will show you to your room" he stands up from his chair & holds his hand for her.
"How is your girlfriend?" Madhu asks.
"Girlfriend? Oh Nisha. Yeah, she is grand. You will see her tomorrow morning."
"She is not staying here?"
"Why would she?" Rk asks confused.
"I thought you both were living together"
"Her house is just two blocks away. We can hang up anytime we please so she didn't move in with me" Rk says coolly. He is anything but cool. He wants to knock hard on her dumb head & scream out loud that Nisha is just a friend but he didn't want to do so. He didn't care anymore what she thinks about him.
"Oh" Madhu says meekly.
"She daily comes here & cook breakfast for me & we eat together. Sometimes we will go out for dinner if I get any free time from my work. You know, she has become my support system after coming back to Singapore" Rk tells smiling.
"How is your work going?" Madhu asks not wanting to hear anymore about Nisha.
"My work is everything now to me"
"You should not be like that Rishu? Work is not everything. See, soon Nisha will get bored of you if you show more importance to work than to her"
"I m surprised seeing you talk all matured." He smirks. "But trust me, she wont get bored of me, if she does & leaves me also I don't care because it's not something new to me"
"I... Rishu..."
"Madhu, you must be tired. You sleep. Will see you in the morning"
"Rishu... You have changed" Madhu says hugging him burying her face in his chest.
"Yes, I am" Rk says wrapping his arms around her inhaling her calming scent which soothes him.
"Did I lost my friend?" She asks in worry.
"No. he is still alive" your husband... oops ex-husband is dead.
"You sleep. Good night" He kisses her temple & releases her from his arms & walks out of her room.
(Next day morning)
Rk wakes up earlier than usual. He hardly sleeps since the day Madhu asked him for divorce. After coming to Singapore, he fully engrossed himself in work. He works like a maniac & only Nisha gives him the much needed stress break by cheering up or taking him out to free his mind. He couldn't sleep anymore so he creeps out of his room & went to madhu's room to check on her. He finds her sleeping peacefully like a small kid curled up on the bed. He covers her properly with a satin bed sheet & heads to the basement gym in the same building.
"Good morning, Rk" Nisha wishes him. Nisha use to work out in his private gym every morning.
But Rk didn't reply her but continue to walk on the treadmill, lost in thoughts.
Nisha understanding something is bothering Rk she didn't probe him & starts warming up by stretching her legs & touching her toe with her fingers. Suddenly she notices the speed of the treadmill increase as Rk starts running on it instead of jogging or walking.
"Rk, slow down" Nisha warns him. But he keeps increasing the speed. A moment later, Rk gets thrown out of the treadmill & he gets his knees & elbow hurt as he hits on the hard floor.
"Rk" Nisha screams & runs to him & helps him sit up.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Nisha shouts at him. Rk winces in pain as he holds his elbow tightly.
"Show me. I will spray on your injury" She says taking out a magic spray tin from her gym bag.
"No. I'm fine" Rk resists her. But she glares him & snatches his hand rudely & sprays on his elbow.
"You are going mad, Rk" she says angrily.
"You know me so well, Nisha" Rk chuckles.
"Don't do this Rk. please, don't bottle up your pain or anger. Just pour it out, unburden it or it will kill you. I know, all your rigorous work out, depriving your sleep, not eating well or care for yourself & working like a machine are to keep the thoughts of Madhu out... but enough is enough, please. If you see madhu in your state how you will feel? Terrible right? Same for me too. I can't see my friend like a broken man. I beg u, please move on" Nisha cries & Rk hugs her burying his face on her bosom.
"I am sorry. I'm trying but I can't help. Seeing Madhu here, it rekindled all the old memories which I m trying to forget." he says. His voice hoarse.
"I told you not to see her." Nisha says still holding him against her chest patting his head gently.
"I can't keep running from my Madhu." He mumbles. "She is here to see her friend. She is already worried that she is losing her friend with the distance I have put between us. Besides i am truly so happy to have my friend here. It's just... I cant see her only as my friend..."
"Oh please. Stop thinking about Madhu" Nisha chides him & there enters madhu to do her work out as Sultan had already told her there was a big private gym in the basement the previous day.
She stop in track seeing Rk in Nisha's embrace, both sitting on the floor.
"Um... I ... I m sorry..." Hearing madhu's voice both Rk & nisha breaks their hug & sits up straight looking puzzled for why she apologized.
"It's okay Madhu come in" Rk calls her when she turns to walk out.
"Sorry, I didn't me to intrude while.. er... you both were making out" Madhu assumes their closeness as they were making out in gym. Though she feels a bang of jealously seeing her Rishu in Nisha's arms but she managed to hide it successfully as that's exactly what she wants.
"Making out? f**k" Rk curses under his breathe. I should have better let her walk back instead of stopping her. You are a fool, Rk. He chides himself.
"Madhu, darling, you don't have to apologize. You know we are so crazy for each other & we can't keep our hands off each other & we start making out not bothering of the surrounding" Nisha says as sweetly as she can. Rk turns to her in shock & Nisha winks at him. Madhu just stares at her embarrassed & also little hurtful.
Then Nisha helps Rk to stand up but Rk winces & limps as he got his right knee hurt on which he landed on the floor with a thud.
"Rishu, What happened?" Madhu rushes to him & holds is hand to support him.
"He was thrown out from the treadmill & got his knee & elbow hurt." Nisha tells her.
"So you were helping him?" Madhu asks realizing they were not making out as she notices the spray bottle lying on the floor too. Oh god! She must be tending his injury. Stupid, you madhu! She chides herself.
"Don't be so judgmental, Madhu. That leads you to nowhere" Nisha advises.
"I'm sorry" Madhu mutters.
"You are seeing all the unwanted things but failing to see the needed ones." Nisha says & marches out leaving Rk & Madhu alone.
"What was she trying to say?" Madhu asks Rk confused.
"Just leave it, baby" Rk says.
"Am I bothering you?" Madhu asks as she slowly leads him to his room.
"Why do u ask so?" Rk asks.
"I feel like I m coming in your private zone, i know u wont mind as i m your friend but Nisha might feel bad. See, even now she is cross with me. Not even said a proper 'hi' to me. She didnt like me here" madhu tells hesitantly.
"You are mistaking. Nisha is a nice girl." Rk says defensive for Nisha.
"I know... I m sorry. Nisha means a lot to you... I started wondering..." She stops & looks down at her knotted fingers.
"Started wondering?" Rk asks tipping her chin up forcing her to see him.
"You hate me! I dont have any place in your heart. I mean nothing to you" she says & cries hugging him.
"Yes. I hate you..." Rk whispers. She leans up to look at him as he continues "... for doubting me that i will hate you... Yes I agree Nisha means a great deal to me but you are everything to me... You know that, dont you?"
"Rishu... I m sorry... I didnt doubt u... I just got insecured of losing u... Losing u to Nisha..." She tells him soaking his tshirt with tears.
"I dont belong to anyone. If I do then its to myself. I m in my own company" he tells her in a way explanation to her that there is nothing... Seriously nothing between him & Nisha but as ever his words went over her dumb head & he too realizes that when she remains silent but crying.
"Its okay. Stop crying. You are wetting my tshirt"
"Its not my tears. Its your sweat" she tells wiping her nose with his tshirt. He chuckles.
"You go work out. I will go take my shower" Rk tell her.
"No. I will do my exercise this evening" she says.
"Then go to your room & take your shower" Rk instruct her.
"No. I take my bath later. I will sit here in your room. If you dont mind can I play temple run game in your phone?" Madhu asks.
"When you started asking permission to take my things?" Rk asks raising a brow.
"I know... But you have changed a lot now... So thought to ask..." She tells & he just shakes his head.
"Still your password is 'Madhu' or did u change it to 'Nisha'?" She asks.
"Yeah i have changed it... But not Nisha..." He tells.
"Then" Madhu asks.
"F.U.C.K" Rk spells it & madhu types it.
"Its showing wrong password, Rishu" Madhu tells him.
"Find it then" Rk tells & walks into the bathroon grabbing a towel.
Then she tries various possibilities of the password like Nisha, Madhu, Password, Error, Popsicle but nothing worked out. She even typed Sultan as she know Rk loves him. But no use.
"Rishu... Help me nah? Please" she shouts standing out side the bathroom.
"No clues. You find on your own, baby" Rk shouts back.
Baby? Baby brat... Got it. She typed 'babybrat' & it got open. A smile creeps on madhu's face seeing hers & her Rishu's close up picture set as wallpaper.
"I got it, Rishu. Thanks for your hint" she says grinning & quickly went back to the bed & jumps on it & settles herself with her legs crossed & starts playing the game.
"Rk, break fast ready" Nisha bargs into Rk's bedroom.
"Nisha, for heaven sake knock the door & come, please" Rk tells her as he searches for his office suit.
"No. If I knock & come then you will get alert & I wont get to feast my eyes with your sexy body" Nisha says in a flirting tone.
"You are shameless, Nisha." Rk says chuckling. "Now if you could go out i can get dressed"
"No. I wont. Change in front of me." Nisha demands.
"No way I m changing in front of girls" Rk says with finality.
"Then who she is? Boy huh?" Nisha points to Madhu. Who is so engrossed in playing temple run.
"I know she wont look at me unlike u. U are an eye-f**king bitch" Rk tells faking anger only to make Nisha laugh out loud.
"Except Madhu, every single female species will die to ogle you. You are an eye candy, you know" Nisha winks.
"Are you planning to ditch, Micheal?" Rk asks her softly.
"Oh yeah... I need a favour from you, Rk?" Nisha asks.
"Tell me?" Rk smiles encouraging her.
"You get ready & come. I will tell you my plan"
"Plan?" Rk asks puzzled.
"Yep! Madhu, breakfast is ready. Join us" Nisha says to her more politely.
"Sure" madhu smiles back.
"Is temple run more tempting than Rk's wet body?" Nisha asks madhu out of curiosity, sitting beside madhu as Rk went in to the changing room to change.
"Nothing is new that I haven't seen before about Rishu's body." Madhu tells still focusing on the game. "You know, Rishu has 9 moles on his body in total"
"What?" Nisha shouts in shock.

Sorry for the delay...
I really don't want to rush & spoil the story. So thought to take it show as i have lot more to say from both Rk & Madhu's side. So i will be updating in a slow phase from now on... Though i will not make you all wait for too long.
In fact I didnt plan to give an update today... But few of my friends asked for an update... So i managed to write one. Though I dont know how it came. So please leave ur feed back on this update & do hit the like button.
